[To those who found themselves in her nightmare]

[Her pen hesitates as she searches for words]

I feel I owe you something of an apology as well as an offer of explanation. I should prefer not to dwell on such things overlong, but, as you were drawn into the events of my past, I feel you have a right to ask what you will of them.

[To those who saw the One Ring in her nightmare]

I would ask you, in particular, to stay silent of the events you have witnessed. It is a grave matter and of great importance to my world. The safety of many relies on secrecy here.

[Action for Rin and/or Celeborn]

[That done, Galadriel sets aside her journal and takes up the harp. It’s a sad, melancholy little tune that emerges from the strings; something very old- older than the race of Men and the sun and moon- that speaks of things the world has long forgotten. She doesn't play for long, though, before she stops and sighs, her hands dropping to her side.]

[OOC: Still in the process of threading out nightmare plot stuff, so if you would like to assume that your character saw the part of the nightmare dealing with the Ring, I'm fine with that. We can either handwave it or I can bend the ongoing thread that way.]

[There's a silence, like she's not sure what to say.] I'm sorry that you had to see that. But...thank you. For your kind words.

As I am sorry you saw what you did. You would not abandon me, Martel, even when I asked it of you. I would be a poor friend indeed, if I did not offer you the same.

It is nothing more then what must weigh on yours for what you have witnessed in your life. Do not apologize for it, if I can not.

[Yes he's going to be stubborn about this.]

Very well, then. If you will not allow apologies, then allow me to express my sorrow. [A pause] I would not have had you see me in such a state.

[And here his voice takes on a gentler tone.] You have seen me at my lowest, times I wish would never have come to pass. I think no differently of you then you would of I in such times.

[ The melancholy tune haunted the entire hallway as Celeborn returned from his brief trip into town. He entered the room silently, not at all wishing to disturb his Queen with his presence. Celeborn cast his beloved a worried gaze as he walked towards the nearest table.

One of the reason he ventured out to town today was so he could find something that would bring Galadriel cheer. Flowers were always the best gift, especially since his dearest wife is quite fond of lilies. ]

My love?

[ He calls to her with some hesitation. ]

[Galadriel glances up when he enters and rises to greet him when he calls to her.]

Lilies. You know I love them so. [She smiles lightly and moves to kiss his cheek.] I will find water. [A ploy to avoid discussing things? Perhaps.]

[ Such a clever ploy, but alas it shan't work. Celeborn isn't easily deterred. ]

Certainly you could fetch the water later, Galadriel.

[ He quickly replied before she could run off. ]

There is something you wish to discuss? [As if she doesn't know.]

[ Judging by the grief that has stricken her, this won't be an easy conversation. It never is. Galadriel: so proud she is to shoulder the fate of the world upon her shoulders, yet always so fearful to speak of her emotions. ]

Your well-being is what needs to be discussed. [ Not the nightmare. ]

So you're not always running away from things on fire? Well that's good. I'd imagine that'd be exhausting on a day to day basis.
