I was under the distinct impression this place was more like Saw less Little Shop of Horrors. Then again, you guys told me there weren't any fairies and look at what showed up just days later.

Well, there was that time we were overrun by a monster invasion, some of them mutated versions of our friends who got to be that way, after they sacrificed people that they cared about.

And then there was the time that the castle turned into a broken down space station with more monsters and more sacrifices.

Never mind the fact that a resident could go psycho on a loss at any time.

[Damon shows up a while later, announcing his presence by, y'know, being obnoxious.]

Sure, whatever. [Of course, now that she has the time, she'll glance through his other conversations and pick up on the one with Lana. Even with how much she skipped school, she's never been a fan of history and this just proves why.]

[ Wow rude! She'll already be there waiting outside the restaurant's front door, though, seated on the stone wall sealing in the little garden. Lana's not dressed any different from normal today, just a snappy business dress, but of course there is no more ring on her finger. ]

You sound like you're in a hurry.

[ Pushing off the edge, she dusts off her skirt as she strolls closer to him, her smile a slow-building one. ]

Do you have somewhere else to be? You're already going to break the one rule.

[He looks her over, something's different. Mostly because she's smiling. That's weird. She's usually much closer to being almost weepy when he's around.]

Well, I am blowing someone else off right now.

Really? That's good. [ She doesn't sound very surprised by that knowledge, either. In some way, she seems more confident about her effect on Damon. ] Because the rule is it can only be me tonight. One whole night with just me.

[ With that on the table, however vague it is, Lana abruptly turns around and heads back to the restaurant's entrance to open the door. ]

So are you coming in?

[There's something up with her and Damon can't figure out what. He's half-tempted to ask because he's gotta admit - he's kinda suspicious. Lana's position on Damon's been wobbly at best and this sudden positive attitude just seems off. But for now, he's just going to play along and play it safe.]

Yeah, I guess I'm all yours.

[He follows her in.]
