[After Damon's back from his incessant whining and complaining magical adventures as a pony, Damon cracks open that journal.]
I was under the distinct impression this place was more like Saw less Little Shop of Horrors. Then again, you guys told me there weren't any fairies and look at what showed up just days later.
You guys really aren't trying very hard to build some trust here, are you?
Anyway, all I need to know - the alcohol been replenished yet?
[He could do with a stiff drink after that.]

Yeah, I guess I'm all yours.
[He follows her in.]

The lights are already on, since she hadn't officially shut down everything for the night, so she just steps out of her heels once they're by the podium. Not that they hurt her feet, but...
She motions beyond the seating area. ]
Pick your poison. We have a full bar.

[He's intent on watching her carefully even though he finds somewhere to sit rather casually.]

[ She just rolls her eyes, draping her jacket over a stool and walking behind the bar, rummaging around for an unopened bottle. Lana doesn't need him worrying about vervain. ]
Neat?

So, tell me about your latest adventure.

Apparently I went to wherever the hell it is those talking ponies come from. And in the process got turned into a talking pony.

Sounds...about right. And that's all that happened?

Like I said, it's nothing to drink over.

If you don't need a reason, why do I?

[He shrugs sarcastically like maybe, maybe not.]

You know, you and I didn't always bicker. When I said we were friends, that wasn't just for charity. There were some good times.

[ A shrug, and Lana stirs her straw around. ]
Now they're less complicated.

Just like that. That's how life happens, isn't it?

[Maybe he shouldn't have blown Faith off. At least this would have been a fun drink, not a puzzling out of what the hell was up with Lana.]

[ She near scoffs while looking up at the ceiling, then back down to him. It's still too easy to argue with him; to find things to fight about. It doesn't mean she likes it. ]
Are you actually interested? Or are you just worried that I'm scheming something that has to do with you? Because I'd be happy to say you have nothing to do with it.

[Besides, he hadn't been around the past couple of days, so duh.]

Hopping up to sit on the bar's rim, Lana clears her throat before continuing. ]
This isn't something I want to advertise yet, but I'm back to just Lang now. No more Mrs. Luthor.

[Damon's just assuming this back to being single thing is awesome. She doesn't seem torn up about it anyways.]
