Soda? No. I'd never heard of it until I got to Paradisa. [she pauses] There's juice? Or water?

[just has been watching this whole thing, wide-eyed. he's torn between "geez leave him alone" and "holy crap, YOU'RE fifteen", because ... well ... he's only three years older, and ... yeah. well. keeping his In Panem We Start Sending Twelve Year Olds Out To Kill Each Other opinions to himself. the point is not to traumatize him further, after all.]

Soda's gross anyway. [it's FIZZY. What the hell is that?]

That's it? [Ughghgh he doesn't really care for juice and he's definitely not going to have it after they teased him about it. ): And water's kind of gross too, but, well, at least it's something...

But the real question is, if he does decide to go for water, how likely is it that Zelos will let him live down this embarrassment?

Probably about as likely as him winning Konoha's non-existent lottery.]

And milk, I guess? [a little frown at Tsuna.

but more importantly, she'll turn to Gale and give his hand a little squeeze. he's been really quiet ... ARE HER FRIENDS TOO WEIRD FOR YOU, GALE ...]

[Gale shrugs a bit, and squeezes her hand back. it's cool, he just ... has no idea where to even start contributing to this craziness. or, well, he didn't until now]

We didn't have soda where I'm from, either. I think ... maybe they had it in the Capitol, but only the really rich people could get it.

[just like anything else, his tone seems to suggest]

[Rich people, ahem, awkward. He catches that tone, but Zelos does not want to start anything between Gale since he likes the dude well enough, so instead he'll settle for giving a sly smile at Tsuna indicating that yes, it's a real crappy gamble to go for water with Zelos around]

[She blinks. Rich people? She gives a small glance over at Zelos, and then doesn't comment. Let's not start that with Ino's boyfriend.] You could have water, I suppose.

[amused] Maybe if you order a juice and just let it sit on the table long enough, it'll ferment into alcohol.

[--oh hey, that gives her an idea! she snaps her fingers]

I've got it!

[she'll reach over to open the sippy cup ... pours a little alcohol in there with the juice. AND THEN LOOKS PROUD OF HERSELF. good job ino, you figured out mixed drinks]

Now all he needs is one of those little fake umbrellas.

[Tsuna stiffens a little at that look. Goddamnit big bro. And then he goes 'eh?' and watches when Ino pours some of her drink into his. Ignoring Once-ler's comment, he reaches forward, reluctantly taking the cup and looking down at it.

Maaa, well, if it'll get everyone to stop bothering me at least...

He wrinkles his nose before bringing the drink up and taking a swig.]

[And then his eyes suddenly widen, and he flails for a moment before desperately spitting the drink out.]

Bluh! It's just as bad as I thought it'd be, even with the juice!

Zelos' plan backfired horribly and Tsuna ended up spitting it on him.

Oh.

He's going to die, isn't he?]

[Zelos sits stunned for a second that he just got SPAT ON. He then reaches slowly and wipes all the spit off him with a napkin (and spits a bit into the napkin himself while it's covering his mouth)...along with any other spilled thing such as sauce and sake that got picked up on the table]

[And then very casually chucks it into Tsuna's face]

Now that was just embarrassing, Tsunie.

[she was prepared to save gale from impending food fight, but ... that was tame enough! she's just wrinkling her nose because ew, that napkin has to be nasty]

[Martel just sits there and stares, because. What. Just. Happened. She carefully starts to edge her seat away from tsuna, because she realizes she is in the line of fire for anything else. Sorry, Tsuna, you are completely on your own for this one.]

[Tsuna cringes when the napkin smacks him in the face and throws it back at Zelos.]

Ugh, Zelos, that's gross!!

[And he's ducking fast so it goes over his head- straight at whatever poor unfortunate soul is near him]

[aaand guess who gets hit in the face? THIS GIRL.

she's pulling the napkin off her face and slamming it down on the table]

[OH JESUS WHY IS HE TOO TALL TO HIDE UNDER THE TABLE?!!!

He'll just be shuffling his chair as far away from Tsuna as possible]
