ACADEMY

ACADEMY Where young ninja are trained to become totally awesome! If you wander by, you might see some bright young ninja practicing their fighting skills in the yard outside. Going inside might mean you get roped into a demonstration for the kids, though ...

[she's been trotting through town, divested of her usual accouterments and bemusedly nodding to the townspeople who seem to know her. She left all that stuff in the room she woke up in because clothes sure as heck aren't necessary.

She pauses next to the yard, observing the foals kids. Some sort of military training? Aren't they a little young?






And seriously, guys. What the heck is a 'ninja?']

[ A certain pony might be seen practicing her own skills at the Academy. Seriously, walking on walls? That's going to take a lot of experimenting with to master, not to mention understand.

And so there's a pony walking on the walls inside of the academy, pausing only long enough to levitate a notepad and quill to jot down a few notes, then continue with the practicing.

And yes, she's wearing her Solid Sparkle outfit.... except the bandage is replaced with the Konoha headband.

(This particular pony seems to be having much more fun than she should, bounding about, hopping from surface to surface and giggling as she does so. If not for that crown, one probably wouldn't even think Cadence was royalty; just a filly in a mare's body.

...ponies probably shouldn't be this athletic, but they are, apparently. Because ninjas. And it's fun.)

[At least this world change hadn't been an emergency. Alan had still been surprised when he'd awoken - a Japanese ninja world? - but it wasn't the strangest thing he'd seen since arriving at the Castle. He'd dressed in the clothes he'd found, put on the sandals, and tied the black...whatever the metal thing was... around his arm before going out.

He ended up at the Academy. Alan wasn't overly enthused to see kids fighting each other, ninja or not. He'd headed inside.

How that led to teaching math to the youngest class, he didn't know.

But now math is over and the kids are clamoring for a ninjutsu demonstration...

44TH TRAINING GROUND

FORTY-FOURTH TRAINING GROUND (FOREST OF DEATH) A big forest that was once used for the Chuunin exam. Its radius is about 10 km, with a river running through it and a large tower directly in the center. It is completely gated off and locked, because pretty much everything inside it is extremely dangerous. If you decide to break in, the forest is filled with giant monsters and poisonous plants.

Arya and Nymeria stare at the hole left in the chain-link fence after Arya covered it in exploding tags. ]

So that's what those do. Come on, Nymeria.

HOKAGE MONUMENT

HOKAGE MONUMENT In the mountains that tower over the whole village, the faces of all the previous Hokages (as well as the current one) are carved in stone. Climb up the stairs to go inside the mountain, and there is an archive library, as well as a place to safely evacuate those in danger. You also get a pretty sweet view of the village from above from up here!

[Library means books, books means knowledge. Hank is there with a little pile of them, absorbing as much info as he can.]

[Today, Kurt is okay with being stuck in the Dalton Academy uniform. The other clothes he woke up with didn't live up to his standards of fashion by any means. Still, more than feeling happy about that, he's confused about what the heck is going on. So he'll just be sitting on the lower steps of the monument, looking around and trying to figure out what he should do.]

[This...is ridiculous.]

[Nikola Tesla, vampire genius extraordinaire, would have probably laughed at you if you told him that at some point, he would be a ninja. Well, he's not laughing now, based on the glower he's giving the entire place, but at least he's found a familiar place of knowledge- the library.]

[He's hanging out in something other than a suit or a vest, peering at the titles of the books as he walks through the shelves.]

...Is there even anything about the science in this world? I mean, really, this is ridiculous.

[Gren isn't in the library, but somewhere on top, where he's getting a good look at wherever it is he's ended up. His clothes aren't the worse he's seen around town so far. He's thankful, in any case, that it isn't a dress.

He shades his eyes and gives a vaguely impressed whistle]

[ If Duke finds where any braille books are in this place, someone may be needed to drag him out to make sure he ate.

As it is, he's pulling books off shelves, one row at a time, searching for where those books he can read are. ]

Dairine can be found perusing the bookshelves, looking for interesting reads. So many new books, so little time.]

ICHIRAKU RAMEN

ICHIRAKU RAMEN A small (but delicious) ramen stand in Konoha. The owner and his daughter are very friendly, and always serve large portions.

Anyone passing by might be blessed by the beautiful sight of Ammy actually sitting at one of the stools, devouring plate, after plate, after plate, after plate, after plate of delicious ramen.

SHE HAD MISSED THIS SO MUCH!

... How is she going to pay for this?]

[Zelos had originally went to the ramen shop in hopes of finding Lloyd who had run off this morning yelling something about curry, also to find directions to a clothing store because the outfit given to him was, well, a terrible sin.]

[But it seems he sorta got distracted with flirting with the daughter of the owner, as well as any waitresses. And having a good old time with it too. So much he might even be slowing up your orders from being complete - um oops?]

[If you're walking by, you might just get startled by the look of what seems to be Hot Topic's version of a ninja hanging out by the stand, stirring his bowl with a spoon and a rather determined look. He has a blue rose sticking out of a pocket of the inside of his coat, if anyone looks carefully...]

Come on, get cooler! I don't want to burn my tongue on you again...

[And he lets out a sigh. Come on, you stupid heat, leave this bowl so he can finally actually stop his stomach from growling.]

[Well at least the food here is familiar if not...a little low rent. Reminds him a little of college.

He'll be sitting at the counter enjoying a bowl of ramen. He's very neat about the whole thing actually. Not a drop on all that white he's wearing.]

[ Zelman and Mai had introduced Joshua to ramen, and it's been a long time since he's actually had any out and about. No matter what type of person he is, he'll always need to eat, and he'll always like familiar foods.

Maybe this isn't exactly a 'restaurant', but Joshua doesn't mind sitting with his back to everybody. His paranoia is only trumped by his ego.

Except he might have ordered too many bowls, one of each flavor. Maybe he'd be willing to part with one? ]

KONOHA HOT SPRINGS

KONOHA HOT SPRINGS A great place to relax in the village, the water here is always the perfect temperature. The hot springs are divided by gender. (Watch out for peeping toms!)

[It's a little different that he's used to, but the idea of public baths is at least a concept Felix is familiar with. Somehow, a regular bathtub doesn't compare to this kind of thing.

He can be found wading into the boys side of the spring with a peaceful expression on his face. Through the steam, it might be possible to glimpse the scars that absolutely cover his back before he dips further in]

YAMANAKA FLOWER SHOP

YAMANAKA FLOWER SHOP A flower shop run by the Yamanakas. They sell most types of flowers, and provide bouquet and flower arranging services. If your character has questions about the village or what they're doing there, it might be a good idea to stop by and get some help from Ino! She'll be hanging around here most of the day.

[The Once-ler has a lot of questions about this village. They range from 'where the hell are we' to 'why won't the guards let us out' to 'who even craves faces on mountains' and more importantly 'what happened to my clothes?'. But, as he wanders into this little flower shop (albeit reluctantly because hey, plant life, he only voices one of them:]

...So this really is that Konoha?
