KONOHA DAY FOUR

[You've received the summons from Lady Tsunade, the leader of Konoha. She asked that everyone meet in front of the Hokage Tower, and by the way everyone in town is rushing over there, it must be urgent.

When you arrive, it looks like the whole village is here: lined up in an orderly fashion, all looking up towards where Lady Tsunade stands to address them all from a balcony on the Tower. A hush goes over the crowd as she speaks.]

I've been informed by our intelligence squad that we have an incoming threat. It seems the Akatsuki are behind an attack on Konoha. However, they have brought with them an army. They have an estimated ten thousand soldiers.

[She pauses, as murmurs pass through the crowd. Ten thousand? That's a whole lot of soldiers! Way more than they've got in Konoha!]

They will enter Fire Country by tomorrow morning. We have until then to prepare ourselves. I want all capable soldiers to assemble back here in an hour for debriefing! Those who feel their mind would be a greater asset, head to the Intelligence Division building in one hour! And finally, those who cannot fight will be evacuated to the mountain immediately! That is all!

[Well, there's your orders, folks. What to do now?]

I spent over two-hundred and fifty years fighting. Another skirmish will not be so heavy a burden.

[And we'll pretend that the two hundred and fifty years thing is totally normal. She hands him a packet of paper.]

This is all the intelligence we currently have on Akatsuki and the soldiers. Study it carefully.

_{[He took the packet, opening it to flip through a couple of pages.]}

[The packet mostly contains some brief stats and information on all of the Akatsuki members. But more curious is the intel on the soldiers. The description for their appearance? Half-man, half ... Venus flytrap?]

I'm afraid there is only one general here, today. [That being her. A tired smile accompanies that joke.]

Of course. It was strange, the first few times, but I am getting better at not being fully in charge.

[She looks a little confused by his question, though.]
