This may seem like a silly question, but, well... why do you think the castle takes so many humans and human-looking people here, compared to all the other types?
I get so many surprised looks and questions at what I am that I thought it was worth asking...

Not that I have anything wrong against humans! I've met some very nice ones. Sometimes the only thing that really separates us is appearance.

If anything, they seem to share a wide-spread disbelief in the existence of magic.

You'd think they'd change their minds after a few minutes of being here.

It doesn't sound like you're one of them... may I ask what you are instead?

I am a pony. Thou may callest me Luna.

How dost thou have visitors? Is it similar to Paradisa?

Dryly:] And can I assume that Paradisa can suppress such magic?

Apparently so. It even took away my basic magic for a few months.

That is a most daunting prospect.

There does not seem to be much progress on our part. While I cannot deny the validity of knowing what does not work, it would be much more useful to find something that does work. Additionally, friends and family left behind may not even realize that we are gone. I, personally, recently saw four ponies who, purportedly, have been here all this time - one of whom has been here for nigh on a year.

Time does seem to work strangely here, but it's no reason to give up. There have been several expeditions to the land around us. I've been there personally, and have learned some of this place's history... sort of. With knowledge comes power.
And I know that none of us shall ever really give up on trying to get home. There is no reason to give up.

And what hast thou gleaned from thy explorations?

Were there bodies or graves?
