The Thirty-Fourth Day

 [Shiki blinks. Then she realizes that she's blinking. Slowly, she moves all of the parts of her body until she accepts that she actually can again. She then runs over and hugs her mannequin. She now knows how it feels. She just spent nearly a month as one, after all.

She then walks over to her journal, which has been open next to her the entire time she was in her mannequin'd state of being, and idly flips to a new page and begins speaking into it.]

So, you know what sucks? Being a mannequin. That's what sucks.

Anyways, um, so I'm pretty sure I was a mannequin for, like, a month or so? I don't know for sure. But, um... how is everyone, I guess? I haven't talked to you guys in a while! I mean, I couldn't, but... Equius! Ted! Barney! Tamaki! Maya! Doctor! Just... everyone! Talk to me? I've missed you~

Oh, and... did I miss anything? I mean, I could hear everything from the journal, but a lot happens all at once, you know?

((ooc: Shiki may be calling out to specific people, but this post is totally open like an open thing! Especially if you want to be the one to tell Shiki that her boyfriend left the castle - she just thinks that she hasn't heard from him in a while. Have fun with her!))

No. Well, not here. But I've had friends here who have. So it's definitely a thing that can happen.

Not... well, yes and no. Things aren't awful in most of home. But I was in... I guess a special situation where I had to fight for my life, so that was a thing.

Yeah, no, it's over for me... it was only a week. Well, three, but it was only supposed to be a week, anyway...

There's usually a load of fine print. Seems it doesn't matter which world you're in.

Yeah, that... sounds pretty true. I mean, it's totally possible to work around it and all! It's just... there's usually at least something in anything that can totally throw you for a loop.

Yeah, like they didn't mention the alien hoarde hiding in the closet or something.

Alien hoarde? Nothing like that happened to me back at home... is that from you and your own life from not here??

Oh, yeah, totally. No matter how awesome something can be, there's almost always at least something unexpected in there... at least it makes it interesting?

Yeah, I guess so.

[Have a slight chuckle, there. Though he would prefer if he didn't have to clean Covvie guts out of the treads of his boots on every mission.]

Exactly! I mean, sometimes you don't really need everything to be interesting... but it's definitely not boring!
