[One minute Damon's minding his own business on the roof as a raven, munching on a bug and the next he's back to normal with only a vague sense of what had happened, spitting and trying to get the flavor of insect out of his mouth. The castle sure does love changing him into things. But even with a bug-enriched diet, he won't complain too much. He finds the journal nearby on the roof with him and cracks it opens to find out just to find mostly bitching and complaining about being sick.]

Well, I can see I missed a lot of pissing and moaning. Did anything important actually happen recently or did you guys really just spend all this time acting like you're on your deathbeds?

[Damon rolls his eyes before he hops down off the roof and back to the ground to get back to his room.]

[Normally, he would point out that he doesn't get sick, but castle. There may also have been a crack about nursing him back to health in there, but he refrains. She doesn't seem in the mood. Given her freaky temper last time, Damon decides to just answer her questions without being a smartass.]

I'm fine. Castle thought it'd be cute to turn me into a bird for a little while.

And this is why we don't go exploring strange lands when-- [ Buffy had been speaking and looking into the journal that she didn't even realize her surrounding... and, to be honest, she wasn't really expecting vampires to be falling from the sky. So, when she first bumped into Damon, she offered a quick apology before looking up at him. Normally she probably would have glared at him, but instead she couldn't help but smirk at the strange coincidence. Her eyes glanced up to the sky before they trailed back down to him. ]
