[Jane's been watching the "Uninfected" like a hawk lately, not interfering in your actions at all. Why? Because she wants to know if any of this hooey actually does anything to people.

If you want to demonstrate the use of that stethoscope on her, though, good luck trying to find her. The invisible only reveal themselves if they want to be known.]

[It's a good thing that Tsuna was told how to use the stethoscope, because honestly, on his own... he probably would have been stumped. (Probably the reason he went for the locket first-- it was the most straightforward item to use).

And after looking through the journals... yep, Jane had definitely been infected with the Envy strain. So now he's walking through the castle, holding the stethoscope with both hands, looking around and calling for her.]

Jane-san? Jane-san?

[What's this? Someone's looking for her?

...Ah! It's Tsuna! But what's he holding? Is that the stethoscope Team Blankie those people were looking for? Oh no way, you're not going to rope her into this insanity!

Are you watching where you're going, Tsuna? There's a banana peel in your path...]

[Yeah, no, definitely not. He's too worried about finding his friend-- so he steps right on it and yelps loudly as it slips out from underneath him, making him crash to the ground.

[He sits up, rubbing his head, and then looks over at the banana peel.]

[Oh, yeah, that was the best prank yet! Although she doesn't want to be found, she can't help but laugh!]

[Oh, he knows that laugh. He perks up immediately and looks around.]

[Oh, fudge. Well, he may know she's here, but he doesn't know exactly where, right? Might as well mess with him.

Is that a rustling curtain over there? A tilting painting there?]

[He hears the noises and gets to a stand, immediately coming over and looking around.

Jane's not anywhere in sight, though, and Tsuna has no idea that the infected with the envy strain can make themselves invisible. Confused, he raises up his unoccupied hand to rub at the back of his neck.]

Was I... hearing things?

[There's a sudden crack behind Tsuna! Someone's dropped a sawdusty handful of popper things!]

Hoo hoo!

[There's some loud footsteps, but what's this? Those popper things seem to drop right out of the air to form a trail! Perhaps whoever's dropping them doesn't notice it...?]

[Tsuna spins as he jumps forward, staring wide-eyed at the poppers on the ground. He clutches at his heart, somehow having kept the stethoscope in his other hand this whole time despite the scares and trip-ups he's been having.]

What... what in the world?

[And then he notices the trail. Uncertainly, he worries the inside of his cheek as he hesitantly follows it.]

[The trail leads down a dead-end corridor with no doors or windows. How could something like that be in Paradisa? It must have some sort of purpose.

Jane's appeared, finally, and she has her back turned to Tsuna as she examines her box of popper things.]

Shoot, where did the hole come from...?

--Jane-san, there you are!

[LOL WHOOPS guess it didn't even occur to Tsuna that he could sneak up on her and do this without a fight. Oh well.]

[Whoa, you actually made her jump! She turns to look at you, less guilty and more peeved.]

What did you follow me for? Didn't I scare you off??

[Wait, she was actively trying to get him to stop looking for her? Why? Obviously it has something to do with the disease, but...]

Ugh! Tsuna, are you really one of THEM? There's nothing wrong with me or anyone else. We're not sick and we don't need any ridiculous cures!

Okay! Okay. [Tsuna puts his hands up in a non-threatening manner and gives a sigh.]

[A roll of the eyes, but she's smirking.]

Because that would mean I would have to touch that silly thing. I don't want you to try this "cure" on me Tsuna, no matter what it entails. I don't need it.

[He looks down at the stethoscope for a moment, at a loss of what to do, before he looks back up.]

Jane-san, we're good friends, aren't we? And... I've never tried to do anything bad to you, have I?

[What? Is this a friendship speech? Seriously?]

[He's a shonen, Jane, deal with it.]

[He takes the stethoscope with both hands and looks down with it, fiddling with it a little.] You know that I wouldn't try to hurt you, or harm you in any way. And... now's not any different. I'm really only doing this because I think you'll feel better afterward.

So I guess... I'm asking you to trust me. Just this once?

[Trust him? When he's so obviously crazy? That's out of the question. But if he's making such a big deal out of this "cure"...maybe it DOES do something.

She can always pull away if something bad happens - or NOTHING happens - right? Taking it away will definitely make him miserable.]

...Alright. I'll trust you. But if I catch a whiff of any funny business, I am going to snatch that stethoscope and toss it out the nearest window. Got it, buster?
