[In want of a quiet place to knit, Rose has taken her yarn and her needles into the library this morning, and commandeered a table near the back. She's just finishing up what looks like a tiny, purple sweater, but the recipient of the garment doesn't seem to like it took much.]

Edgar, yarn isn't a digestible material. Please refrain from eating your own clothing.

[A tiny black kitten, who's been rolling around on the table, gently drops the sweater sleeve from his mouth before meowing loudly into the journal and hopping off the table to explore the rest of the library.]

My point rests, however. Warm clothing in winter is a cultural adaptation to cold, not, as I stated, a biological requisite.

You could argue it is not much different now, the world appears to have taken steps backwards, with their technological advances.

As far as I am aware, there is no one that is farther back than me, currently, nor has there ever been. A few have come close, however.
