[Violet is spending most of the day decorating the shop with Christmas lights and the like. They're all ornaments she's welded together. She set out a menorah as well. Once she gets a break, she decides to pull open the journal.]
I know most people celebrate Christmas, but I celebrated Hanukkah with a few people last year. I like Christmas as well, and while I've never been the most religious, I like that everyone here is culturally open.
So anyone who wishes is welcome to have dinner with me for the first night of Hanukkah, no matter what you believe in, or don't as the case may be. The first night is the 8th.
[Lemony Snicket, Percy Jackson, Cesare Borgia]
Consider this a personal invitation.
