[ GLaDOS has been keeping to herself as of late. Hiding around in her room, beginning to start new tests and in the process of finishing a discouragement laser... why is she suddenly wandering the halls, looking kind of purposeful?

She's going to pick up Wheatley from his hiding spot, even if there's a frustration in her gait.

Don't mind all the nutcrackers she's walking by... ]

[Here's Jade, walking away from Wheatley's table predicament and looking somewhat perturbed. He spots GLaDOS and decides to give a friendly warning to her, given they are at least friendly acquaintances.]

I'd be careful if I were you; the Castle seems to be up to something.... odd.

[ She furrows her brow, approaching Jade and crossing her arms. ]

What do you mean? [ she inquired, seeming a bit frustrated. Of all times to be looking for that moron...! ]

[Jade stopped and rubbed his temple.]

According to some of the other residents, the nutcrackers around cause odd kissing spells to befall everyone at random.

[ She raises her eyebrow, before sneaking a look around. No nutcrackers.

That sounds awfully difficult to believe. Is there any scientific explanation behind it?

Not that I've discovered. For the most part, it simply seems to be the Castle itself that's playing a rather odd joke on the residents in the 'spirit' of the holidays.

Her frustration seems to dissipate as she looks thoughtfully at Jade. ]

Does it... now...? [ She purses her lips. There's something suddenly distracting about Jade, and she doesn't really know why she wants to step closer to him. ]

Nonononononono. Jade takes a step back, recognizing that look from the one on Wheatley before he'd gone for a smooch.]

That's exactly what happened last time. I can assume there's a nutcracker around.

[ And she takes a step forward, cheeks flushed. ]

You mean right now...? [ she asked, reaching for Jade's shoulder as she took another smooth step forward. His hair looked kind of nice and silky... ]

I'm rather sure of it. Maybe you should resume looking for Wheatley.

[He puts a hand on her shoulder to keep her more or less in place, but doesn't more back. Maybe the nutcracker is getting to him too.]

Hm. [ she hums thoughtfully, staring at him still. Such nice eyes... such a contrast with the color blue, she mused in her spell-struck daze as she attempted to shuffle closer. ]

I will... is your hair as soft as it looks?

[ But suddenly she's coming closer and running a hand through his hair!

Ooh. It really is soft...

She flushes a bit, hand still in his hair, leaning in close... not kissing him yet. ]

[ Oh shh what are normal human behaviors.

She returns the kiss, threading her fingers through his hair, her other hand moving to his shoulder.

But the magic is gone when she parts, golden eyes widening as she takes a step back, removing her hands from him. ]

Wh-... What was that?

[When she moves away, Jade stares a moment, then puts a hand to his face, somewhat aggravated.]

Something tells me there's a nutcracker nearby.

[ She's also a bit disturbed, running a hand over her own face before crossing her arms. ]

This is ridiculous.

[ She glances about, unsure exactly what a nutcracker even is- but she sees the weird thing on the windowsill and grabs it, looking back to Jade. ]

Is this a nutcracker?

[Jade stared at it, then grabbed it and set the thin on fire right then and there.]

I didn't know what they were until I got here and they showed up.

[ Oh thank goodness. She kind of feels relief when it's set on fire. ]

It was ugly, anyway. What kind of human creation is that?

[ Not like most humans were all too innovative, but really-... ]

[Jade chuckled at that.]

Apparently it's for cracking walnuts and other nuts like it.

Welp. Got Wheatley...May as well nab you too!

[And who should come walking very purposely up the hall but a familiar girl. She shoots GLaDOS both a brow arch and a wave as she starts by...And she's carrying a nut cracker.

She takes one step past GLaDOS, turns around, and then runs back. And like with Wheatley, before she knows what she's doing, she's planting a smacker on GLaDOS... What the hell is going on here?]

[Chell backs up, shaking her head in utter confusion. WHY does this keep happening?]

[ GLaDOS arches her own brow, confused as to why when the woman passed her, she felt an odd closeness to her... until she came running back...

And suddenly a kiss.

Something about it feels insanely nice, if only for a second before Chell parts from her, and there's a stunned look on her face. ]

... Wh-... what was that for?

[ She sounds so lost- but see how she's trying to cover it up, with that cold cutting tone?

But the nutcracker is still in the vicinity- Chell's carrying it.

She finds herself taking a step closer... ]

[Chell is still too entirely confused to understand WHY GLaDOS is stepping toward her, or what the actual fuck just happened in the first place... So she doesn't move. She just stands there with these weird, huge eyes....

[ Don't mind a fistful of your shirt being grabbed as she pulls you into a bit more of a violent kiss- this is Chell, after all, and while she's heavily influenced by the nutcracker, GLaDOS doesn't want to be one-upped by the woman. ]

[And Chell kisses back, though she doesn't understand how or why or what's going on. And in the process, she drops her nutcracker...]

[ The sound of the nutcracker hitting the ground jolts her out of her spell-induced daze, and she pulls back, letting go of Chell and taling a step back.
