I got a question~! ♪

Sooooo I'm not from Earth, but I've heard a few things about Valentine's Day from people. You know it's a holiday about romance and love and all that great stuff! Which sounds really nice to me! Everyone could use more of that sorta thing in their lives! ♥

But then as the day approaches, most of you seem pretty lackluster about it or outright dreading it! Which is weird since we're in a castle full of attractive people and we can wish for anything we want to make the day go nice!

So I guess after awhile I'm starting to wonder what Valentine's Day is all about...I mean...

Is Valentine's Day actually just some obligatory breeding day so Earth people can keep their population going? Or does the castle just collect a lot of people with really empty love lives?

'Cause honestly, I can't tell which it is~! And I'd like to know too, since Valentine's Day sounds fun, but I'm not sure I'm on-board with the idea of...obligatory breeding for Earth's sake, per say.

Yeah. You send cards and do romantic stuff like picnics and strolls and spending time together. [A touch bitter, that. Oh the sting of rejection does last such a long time]

Mostly just the obligatory part. Kinda kills the mood, you know?

You really can't think of a single way to incorporate the obligation aspect? Because I can think of at least seven, and that's without trying.

From what I have gathered, the festival itself is innocent enough. You must bear in mind, however, that the castle has a history of twisting such things for its own amusement. Do you not recall the ...indignities of December?

Oh you mean the kissing?

Yeah I remember that!

I do. Many of us are not eager for a similar occurrence.

But it's just kissing, wasn't it? Not like that matters that much unless it's your first.

It was. I speak only for myself, of course, but I do not take kindly to committing any action against my own will. Besides which, I am a woman wed. I doubt I am alone in that, either.
