paradisa | Case: 14 Action/Dictated

[Through out the day people may see a sloth bear lurking about the castle, casually going about it's way and occasionally getting into trouble. Either by sticking it's nose into things it probably shouldn't or just being a bear in a castle.

Eventually however, it can be seen running and then climbing up a tree, a shoe in it's mouth (that it may or may not have stolen from a certain vampire genius), that it promptly puts in the tree. But instead of a bear coming out of the tree, James does, and by coming out, he practically fell out of it to the ground.

And of course there's a journal nearby to hear his grumbling as he sits up under the tree, brushing himself off.]

While I am thankful for the experience, I'm not for the experience of reliving a part of my misadventures in my youth. [Namely falling out of a tree.] And you couldn't have bothered to leave me fully dressed, could you? It's freezing out here. [And by fully dressed he means he's missing his jacket and a couple other appreciated but unneeded articles of clothing.]

[There's a blonde haired Italian man, dangling his long woolen jacket on two fingers in front of you, James.] It seems to have a interest in putting us into ridiculous situations, such as falling out of tree without clothes. [Yes, he saw that.

He then squints at James.] Speaking of that, are you all right? Other than being cold.

[ James may or may not have noticed an adolescent little skunk following him around for a few minutes, more curious and playful than anything. The bell on its collar has probably given it away though, especially once its owner comes running after it. ]

Akira-kun, come here! What are you...

Oh.

[ Akito will stop and stare at the strange bear-thing for a moment, then pull out his cell phone to take a picture while Skunkira runs and sits at his feet. ]

Oh look, you're not dead.

[Oh great, witnesses. Oh well he can deal with that for now, especially as he stands up and takes the offered jacket, shrugging it on as he talks.] I'll be sore in the morning, though it's hardly the first time I've landed on my back here.

[We do not talk about Xena and New Years however. So.] So I'll be fine, and thank you for the jacket.

[Oh a skunk. Well he can live with that, and he doesn't mind it even if the bell is a little annoying. It's the cell phone though that gets his attention, and he promptly stares at it, then the boy, then the skunk.

What are you doing?]

[He loves you too Mal.]

No I'm not, thank you for the concern.

You're a weird looking bear.

[ will turn his phone to the side to get one more shot. ]

[Okay that gets a huff and he a stomp. He is not, thank you very much. And after that huff he lifts a paw up to cover his face some, no pictures please.]

[Giotto smiles.] You're quite welcome. Though... [He peers up the tree that James had fallen out of.] What were you even doing up there?

Ah, how cute!

[ one more picture ;3; making cute poses isn't good for getting people not to take photos. ]

You look like a bear and a dog mixed together.

[James looks up in it himself, looking for where the shoe is. No he's not telling Nikola which tree that shoe is in, nope. But he does rub the back of his head at that.] The castle saw fit to turn me into a type of bear that can climb, a sloth bear, I was experimenting with it.

[This isn't cute, he's being serious here! Which gets a glare and another huff, before he waves his paw some to try and show him to stop with the pictures.]

Do you want to see them?

[Giotto laughed at that outright.] Seems like a good idea as any when you've been turned into a bear that can climb. Climb a tree.

[See, this is someone James can understand. And he had to laugh at that.] Made perfect sense at the time, though going for a number of years without climbing made it a bit difficult.

[After another huff and hanging his head, he nods. Why not? So with that in mind he slowly approaches him.]

[ Akito squats down carefully, so as not to knock his skunk over, and holds out the cell phone to show off the pictures he took. ]

They're cute, ne?

I would imagine so. But...ah, the shoe? [There is a random shoe up there. And it's not James', as he has both of his shoes.]

[ This is becoming entirely too commonplace. Arya leaves then returns with a long cape. She holds it out wordlessly. ]

[Oh the shoe. Oh well, too much to hope for that it'd be ignored.] If you hear a gentleman ranting about a bear stealing his shoe, and threatening said bear with unfortunate things involving electricity, tell him it ran off into the woods.

[In other words he stole it and has no intentions on telling it's owner he did so.]

[He peers at the pictures and then, yeah that's a nose smudge on the camera screen as he presses on it. And then a snort with a head tilt. He's not so sure on the cute thing, really.]

[Giotto raises an eyebrow and looks inbetween James and the shoe. Then he looks at him with a calm face...with a hint of a smirk.] ...I'm sure he has plenty other shoes.

[As in, you're secret is safe with him.]

[At least he's mostly dressed? He just feels naked without five layers of shirts on is all, so he takes the cape with a nod.] Thank you.

So you can stop complaining you're naked.

[ He withdraws his phone once he thinks the bear-thing is done with it. ]
