Case: 14 Action/Dictated

[unnaturalpause]

[Through out the day people may see a sloth bear lurking about the castle, casually going about it's way and occasionally getting into trouble. Either by sticking it's nose into things it probably shouldn't or just being a bear in a castle.

Eventually however, it can be seen running and then climbing up a tree, a shoe in it's mouth (that it may or may not have stolen from a certain vampire genius), that it promptly puts in the tree. But instead of a bear coming out of the tree, James does, and by coming out, he practically fell out of it to the ground.

And of course there's a journal nearby to hear his grumbling as he sits up under the tree, brushing himself off.]

While I am thankful for the experience, I'm not for the experience of reliving a part of my misadventures in my youth. [Namely falling out of a tree.] And you couldn't have bothered to leave me fully dressed, could you? It's freezing out here. [And by fully dressed he means he's missing his jacket and a couple other appreciated but unneeded articles of clothing.]

[There's a blonde haired Italian man, dangling his long woolen jacket on two fingers in front of you, James.] It seems to have a interest in putting us into ridiculous situations, such as falling out of tree without clothes. [Yes, he saw that.

He then squints at James.] Speaking of that, are you all right? Other than being cold.

[unnaturalpause]

[Oh great, witnesses. Oh well he can deal with that for now, especially as he stands up and takes the offered jacket, shrugging it on as he talks.] I'll be sore in the morning, though it's hardly the first time I've landed on my back here.

[We do not talk about Xena and New Years however. So.] So I'll be fine, and thank you for the jacket.

[Giotto smiles.] You're quite welcome. Though... [He peers up the tree that James had fallen out of.] What were you even doing up there?

[unnaturalpause]

[James looks up in it himself, looking for where the shoe is. No he's not telling Nikola which tree that shoe is in, nope. But he does rub the back of his head at that.] The castle saw fit to turn me into a type of bear that can climb, a sloth bear, I was experimenting with it.

[ James may or may not have noticed an adolescent little skunk following him around for a few minutes, more curious and playful than anything. The bell on its collar has probably given it away though, especially once its owner comes running after it. ]

Akira-kun, come here! What are you...

Oh.

[ Akito will stop and stare at the strange bear-thing for a moment, then pull out his cell phone to take a picture while Skunkira runs and sits at his feet. ]

[Oh a skunk. Well he can live with that, and he doesn't mind it even if the bell is a little annoying. It's the cell phone though that gets his attention, and he promptly stares at it, then the boy, then the skunk.

What are you doing?]

You're a weird looking bear.

[ will turn his phone to the side to get one more shot. ]

[He loves you too Mal.]

No I'm not, thank you for the concern.

[ This is becoming entirely too commonplace. Arya leaves then returns with a long cape. She holds it out wordlessly. ]

[unnaturalpause]

[At least he's mostly dressed? He just feels naked without five layers of shirts on is all, so he takes the cape with a nod.] Thank you.

So you can stop complaining you're naked.

<sub>[Call Vanyel curious - or delusional - but a bear was a bear, and a bear with a shoe was... odd. He was with Yfandes, and slowly the pair - man and white mare - approached the tree the bear was in, having never seen its kind before much less one shimmy up a tree quite like that.

And then James popped out and even Yfandes gave a snort of surprises, her blue eyes wide.]</sub>

That... is quite the trick, sir.

[And old man grumbling is a go now, even more so then normal. Even with the mare and man right near him.]

If you'd care to learn it, talk to the castle, it's all it's doing.

No, that is quite all right. I had a fun enough time when I was turned into a peacock.

Though I think I might have enjoyed being a bear more. Less people would want to bother you, I suppose.

[It was none too soon after James fallen out of the tree that a faint chuckle could be heard from nearby. While Celeborn typically doesn't find anything humorous in the misfortunes of others, the Elvenlord couldn't help but chuckle at James' expense. After all, the man seemed to have a habit of having some rather terrible luck as of late.]

You poor soul.

[Dressed in his usual pale silken garbs, Celeborn greeted James with a slight bow now that his chuckles have ceased.]

Is all well now?

[Yes well, that was his luck in life. Forever falling out of trees, or his dog being difficult, or Nikola taking over the world and leaving him to pick up the pieces.

But at the greeting, James smiled over at Celeborn even as he moved to stand with a grunt.]

So long as a friend of mine doesn't hear about this, I should be. [But Celeborn does get a bow once he's standing.] Lord Celeborn.

[ His chuckles of course ceased once James greeted him, but if the doctor looked closely he might spot some mirth in his blue gaze. Out of all of Galadriel's many friends, Celeborn was perhaps fond of this fellow the most. ]

I shall hold my tongue for the sake of your dignity, Sir James.

John would probably have something to say about him engaging bears around the castle.

But John's not here. And also he's bored.

[Well you know, he's not a big bear. Just a small one.

And being bored is always a good reason to approach strange creatures.

The fact that it's Sherlock saying that is enough for him to turn, drop the shoe and huff before shaking his head. NOPE.]
