Case: 14 Action/Dictated

[unnaturalpause]

[Through out the day people may see a sloth bear lurking about the castle, casually going about it's way and occasionally getting into trouble. Either by sticking it's nose into things it probably shouldn't or just being a bear in a castle.

Eventually however, it can be seen running and then climbing up a tree, a shoe in it's mouth (that it may or may not have stolen from a certain vampire genius), that it promptly puts in the tree. But instead of a bear coming out of the tree, James does, and by coming out, he practically fell out of it to the ground.

And of course there's a journal nearby to hear his grumbling as he sits up under the tree, brushing himself off.]

While I am thankful for the experience, I'm not for the experience of reliving a part of my misadventures in my youth. [Namely falling out of a tree.] And you couldn't have bothered to leave me fully dressed, could you? It's freezing out here. [And by fully dressed he means he's missing his jacket and a couple other appreciated but unneeded articles of clothing.]

[ This is becoming entirely too commonplace. Arya leaves then returns with a long cape. She holds it out wordlessly. ]

[At least he's mostly dressed? He just feels naked without five layers of shirts on is all, so he takes the cape with a nod.] Thank you.

So you can stop complaining you're naked.

[unnaturalpause]

Of course. [But he is looking at you so hard, Arya. You're a kid, are you warm enough?] You're certain you don't need it? It's rather chilly out here.

[persequor]

This is a warm bath compared to the North.

[unnaturalpause]

[Okay that's more then enough for him to not feel guilty for the moment to pull the cape on and over himself to stay warm as he stands up.] I imagine you'd have snow on the ground much earlier then here if that's the case, no?

[persequor]

Summer snows early enough?

[unnaturalpause]

Indeed. [Other worlds are special, enough said.] This place must be exceptionally odd to you then, ignoring the castle's influence in general that is.

[persequor]

It is.

[unnaturalpause]

[And this may seem out of the blue, but James has a soft spot for kids, so welp.] What do you like to do, here or at home?

...why do you want to know?

[unnaturalpause]

To indulge my curious mind, a young lady such as yourself surely must have found some rather, interesting, hobbies in such a place as here or your home.

[persequor]

I practice my needlework.

[unnaturalpause]

Needlework? [Just looking at you so hard, Arya.] What kind of needlework?

[persequor]

[ Look right back, old man. ]

With my Needle.

[unnaturalpause]

[And that gets a rather amused look from him.] Something tells me you don't mean for sewing.

[But he doesn't sound disapproving of it, he really can't be having been the godfather for one very stubborn, rash, gunslinger girl and her mother's former lover.]
