[Caterina has been using this time to read up on everything she missed while in Paris. Needless to say that came to an abrupt end recently. While she laments losing the chance to read the words of the people she desperately misses, it is also for the best. She needs to move on. It does not take her long to start working out the necessary steps to do so.]

[After that filter Caterina is exiting her room. She has her coat with her in hand since putting it on is a lost cause for her. Whoever she runs into on the way outside will no doubt get suckered into helping her.]

[He isn't really thinking of himself when he says that, actually. Just worrying about everyone else.]

Or the older residents either. It would be nice if everything just calmed down a bit around here, and stayed it.

Things have been calm enough since I returned. [She doubts it will last but, she knows when to take her victories.]

We will endure regardless.

Yeah, I think...if we all stick together everything will work out just fine.

[He'll give a little smile, nodding once.]

But, um! Ha, I think...maybe it would be better if we moved on from the topic of things taking a turn for the worst...were you going somewhere?

I was going to take a walk outside in the gardens. [Caterina smiles warmly.]

Ha, I'd like that. I...think I've been spending far too much time inside my room lately anyway.

Some fresh air would be nice.

[Caterina is heading for the door.] Have you seen the gardens in fair weather yet?

I...haven't seen the gardens at all, actually.

Did you arrive after the snow fell?

Before, actually...hm...it was October, I think.

What was it like in October here?

Hm...there were decorations up for a holiday I had never heard of. Weather-wise it was what...you'd expect, I suppose. Cold, but no snow just yet...

A typical October I guess...depending on where you're from.

For Halloween? It's a shame you didn't catch the last of the garden's beauty before then. It will be some time before it returns.
