There's a woman here by the name of Igraine, in my world she's your mother.

[He can't do one Pendragon without doing the other after all, right? Right. So after some thought he filters to Morgana as well.]

What do you know of a woman named Igraine?

[His task for the Pendragon family, or rather the ones here and he's taken upon himself to meddle with, done, he sets himself up in the lobby on a sofa, a few pieces of wood in hand as he works on carvings for various people.]

I'd ask about how many of you are royalty, but I think I'd very much regret asking, much like I'd regret asking about parties. But I've never been one to value my peace of mind, so tell me, how many of you claim a title of power or importance or similar? [Asking outright probably wouldn't get him very far, but hey it's a start. He likes to keep track of such things after all and Igraine's arrival has made him think about such things.]

So they're smart, unafraid. Loyal? [Casually working on a carving for her now, yup.]

[He pauses, thinking on that before he picks back up into the carving. It's easier for him to do this as they talk.]

A good animal for a family that rules over such a cold place. And for proud ladies of that line.

You are the sister of a king, even if you dislike what being a lady is, you have that blood in you. Doesn't mean you have to act like one however.

[persequor]

I don't.

I don't expect you too, no life for a direwolf, the garb of a lady. Better fit for dragons. [He's referring to the Pendragon's, but well...]

[persequor]

[ Carefully: ] What king do you serve?

[kingsgambit]

[Oh, so there's another family out there with a dragon crest. He'll just store that away for now.] A young king named Arthur Pendragon, who rules over Camelot.

[persequor]

Him.

[kingsgambit]

Well, a version of him. My Arthur's a bit scrawnier, has longer hair, and isn't nearly so charming. [And it's really a toss up if he's being sarcastic on that last one or not.]

[persequor]

Less charming? Is he a rock?

[kingsgambit]

If you find the one here so flat, then I think you'd rather think he was one. [He can't help laughing though. Igraine is going to kill him too for this, but he'll deal.]

[persequor]

I'd prefer the rock. [ Easier to ignore than incessant patronizing narcissistic droning. ]

[kingsgambit]

[Yup, so laughing now.] You would, though I think he'd avoid you for your direwolf.

[persequor]

Better.

If he ever arrives, I will do my best to insure you never meet him.
