She doesn't mind the drinks turning into alcohol, as was the case in other years, because after all, people being drunk at this time of the year on the Disc was fairly regular.

Oh. Well, kids play with wooden swords where I come from, as well as train. Generally if you play with them you inevitably want to learn how to use one.

Nah, swords aren't really a thing where I come from. Well, unless you're like, a ninja or a supervillain or something. Most people use guns ...

Ah. Guns. The best we have that way are pistol crossbows. Given the mentality of a lot of people in my world, it's probably for the best we don't have actual guns.

[Brock has a hard time placing 'noble' next to 'killing guys' -- he is extremely blasé about murder and he knows that, but it's still not an admirable endeavor.]

My handler didn't really care about specific weaponry. It's always a lot more important to be able to improvise with what you got on hand.

I miss him. But I'm sure he'd get bored here. He lives for soldering, and there's not a lot of that to do here.
