Hi. I have this sneaking suspicion that I missed a lot, seeing as it's now January and I think I was kidnapped. So much for my little get together for the new year.
[There's a few metallic clatters here, one of them is drawn out as a ring spins to a slow stop on her desk.]
I also seem to have way more Renaissance-style jewelry than I remember, and that doesn't bode well. Uh, Lucrezia...?
There seems to be a lack of mass confusion, so I'm guessing it was only a few of us that... what? Got stuck in a--I don't even know what that was, really.
Sooooo. Care to fill me in? Anyone? Please tell me I wasn't turned into an old woman or something and just don't remember that.

But I don't think she is. Maybe she just wants your attention, I don't know. I don't think it's anything sinister, though. Even if she does suspect you and Lana are together.

[Basically: it's Lucrezia's fault.]
I am not so sure. If she wants my attention, she will not stop at any cost to get it. We will have to see.

[But that's off topic. She exhales.]
Do you want me to see if I can find out what she thinks? About you, or... you and Lana.

[He frowns as he thinks about that.]
No, I do not want to foster any idea in her head that it may be true... but I would know her intention for me.

[She nods.]
I'll see if I can get anything out of her. Breaking the laws of Girl Talk, but I'll live.

It sounds nicer than "gossip," which is what we would call it in my time.

Then what we do is gossip, Ezio.

I think you and I "gossip" more than me and Lucrezia, anyway.

When it comes to Lucrezia, we might as well call it a diplomatic matter.
