[Elizabeth Tudor]

Elizabeth, you are no child, and so I will not treat you as such. You have married a King of England, and if this is true, I will meet him at once.

[/Elizabeth Tudor]

[ She's already had her shrieking fit off camera, so by now she's become more composed and willing to socialize again. Sort of. She dictates the following with tight-lipped composure; ]

I find it difficult to grasp the notion that none noticed by absence. Truly, I am horrified still at what transgressed, having had to depend on a strange but noble woman for escort, only to return and find none the wiser.

This must cease. This... This mockery of a castle is nothing more than a small child dressing itself up in empty purpose. Any fey who might try such nonsense on me again will rue it. Think you that I am the weaker for not having my lord husband at my side? That is a dangerous mistake to make.

If none other will hold court here, then I will take up that role as Regent, and breathe purpose into the very walls. Any who have or would swear fealty to England, I would have a renewal of your vows. If you do not already know the name Anne Boleyn, you will know it soon, and know it well.

[Oh snap!]

...give or take.
kalinda: (All the while)

You might be able to recruit those with powers, too. Or... I'm guessing that's a turn-off.

[She'd do it if she got paid!]

You could always openly ask for help. I'm not about to tell you how to carry yourself, but a little humility goes a long way.

[HEY. MONEY IS MONEY. POWER IS POWER. If you got the leverage, you got her attention.]

I understand.

[...you know what this situation needs? A little private investigating! Yes, having a job is always great, isn't it?]

If you'd like to be specific with your exact needs, I could look into acquiring the right people for your cause.

[You really should have thought this all ahead, brosis.]

Pre-planning is the best route here. There has to be an understanding that your usual means will not work with people who are not in touch with the old ways.

Anything else? [She's taking notes here!] There's no harm in being specific. You shouldn't sell yourself short.

[And a soft chuckle.] There's a lot to it, but it's become something we don't think twice about.

[There's a few moments, a few footsteps...] Well, that's convenient.
kalinda: (We made plans to meet)

[She'll close her journal, putting it away before approaching Anne and stopping a few feet from her. This is how they did it in the movies, right? She probably doesn't have to keep too much of a distance, considering they were travelling through the unknown together.]

Thank you. [Wow, how does she even...] How are you?
kalinda: (But I'm better now)

[And sit she does, sitting (and feeling) as though she is in some sort of important interview. Maybe she should sit like she would around Diane? Which isn't really any different to be honest, but at least one requires far less thought behind it. At least she got over Diane being overbearingly pressing with her matters. Around an actual queen though, she's more likely to be micromanaged, isn't she? Damn. Well, at least it's a job to do.]

Go ahead.

The only way I've seen it done is venturing out into the Dead Zone.
