Scroll Forty Eight

[Things have been getting increasingly quiet for Spike recently. So many of the people he cares about have gone home, likely to never remember him again. It's made him understandably paranoid, and one voice has been absent for a while. So, heading off through the castle, he went to the room of a special pony.

...And finds the news, deep down, he was expecting. Well, at least she'd remember him, back home. That's a little comfort. Still, he sounds sad as he opens up the journal

For anypony who knew her, Princess Cadence has gone home.

...I guess she'll be happier there. She has Shining Armour back home, and her honeymoon to go to.

Not forget them. You never forget. But if you spend all your time here worrying about the people who've returned home you won't ever get anything done. Its better to focus on what you can do. [Yes Conan, teach the kid all about poor emotional coping strategies.]
