[Things have been getting increasingly quiet for Spike recently. So many of the people he cares about have gone home, likely to never remember him again. It's made him understandably paranoid, and one voice has been absent for a while. So, heading off through the castle, he went to the room of a special pony.

...And finds the news, deep down, he was expecting. Well, at least she'd remember him, back home. That's a little comfort. Still, he sounds sad as he opens up the journal]

For anypony who knew her, Princess Cadence has gone home.

...I guess she'll be happier there. She has Shining Armour back home, and her honeymoon to go to.

Could she be busy? You said she likes to read and learn things, right?

[She's also beginning to wonder if Twilight already heard, but why not contact Spike?]

I don't know, maybe. I guess she could have got sucked into a pile of books again.

But, I haven't seen any strange books around, and would the castle do something like that again so soon?
