First Snowflake

[The lobby has an unexpected visitor this afternoon, though she might be easy to miss. A tiny little girl lays curled up on one of the tabletops, tucked next to a book. Two wings peek out from behind her back. She's asleep, but not for long!

The little fairy slowly pulls herself up and lets out a big YAWN as she stretches.]

Using magic last night made me hungry. I wonder what’s for breakfast!

[The thought of food makes her smile brightly. But her expression morphs into confusion as she starts to notice her surroundings. Hopping onto her feet, Sugar walks closer to the edge of the table and looks out across the lobby.]

Huh? This isn’t where I went to sleep…

Show me where, Mister...? [She looks at the book. Still no can see.]

[He pauses, then sighs. God his life sucks]

...Never mind. Let me draw you a map. [Doop doop drawing a map...in paint on the floor of the lobby because that's totally wise]

[Sugar stares at the journal closely... because where else would he draw a map? Yet nothing appears.]

But where's the map?

It's right here. [He notices she's staring at the journal and sighs] Oh the floor.

[sugarwaffo]

Huh? [Sugar looks over at the floor.]

Oh wow! [She flies over to land in front of the map.] You can do magic too, Mr. Resident?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

I can, but that's just paint. I'm invisible unless you believe in me.

[sugarwaffo]

[Sugar's about to ask what paint is, when his next sentence gets her attention.]

But I do believe you!

But you don't believe in me. Makes sense, if you're not living amongst humans. I'm what they call the Easter Bunny.

[sugarwaffo]

Oh! Hello, Mr. Easter Bunny. I'm Sug--aaAAAH!!

[Sugar screams when the GIANT RABBIT suddenly appears. Because a 6 foot bunny is intimidating enough for a regular person, but when you're 4 inches, it's downright TERRIFYING. She zooms under a nearby couch to hide.]

[Oh, bugger. He turns the way she went, his ears flicking back a little, before he lowers himself to he haunches a little]

It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you.

[sugarwaffo]

[Little eyes peer out from the darkness.]

Promise?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

[He'll cross a paw over his chest]

Cross my heart.

[sugarwaffo]

[There's silence, then Sugar crawls out from under the couch.]

Sorry. You just appeared so suddenly that I... [panicked.]

Sorry, the magic is about as controllable as a dingo with rabies. It just happens.

[sugarwaffo]

'Is okay. What's a dingo?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

It's a wild dog.

[sugarwaffo]

Oh, a doggie! [Head tilt.] Then why call them a dingo?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

It's just the name they've been given.

[sugarwaffo]

Oh.

[Her stomach growls again.]

Ahh... I should find that food soon.

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

Right-o, follow me to the kitchen. [And off he goes]

Yay~! [Sugar hops up and flies after him, a trail of sparkles in her wake.]
