7th sweater: a chocolate moose

So Gideon's gone. He's probably back home concocting his next scheme or something. Anyway, if you don't know who he is then consider yourself lucky. He's very charismatic, but once you get to know him he can be kind of a jerk sometimes. I guess I won't be needing bodyguards anymore, too.

But enough about that. I have been reunited with Waddles ever since Christmas, so all right with the world once again.

[There's an audible oink that can be heard over the journal]

Waddles says hi!

Speaking of Christmas, I was kind of unconscious for a while and then stuck somewhere, and also things happened? What I'm trying to say is I lost some valuable knitting time, so Christmas gifts have been delayed for a while now. Who wants to make it an early Valentine's Day present instead?

Yeahhhh. Hold on a second, you met him?

I talked to him over the journals once. He did seem a bit odd towards the end, but gosh! Now I feel all sorts of awkward.

That's kind of the effect he has on people. The more you talk to him, the more you notice something's just not right with the kid. In any event, if you only talked to him once then it's no big.

How was I to know he was the guy? I'm still sorry, though.

Huh? I'm not mad if you talked to him. I'm just glad that he didn't lose his marbles around you!

[She sighs]

It's my fault, too. I warned all the ladies here about a creeper but I didn't even give his name.

It's alright! Sometimes people get so caught up in something that they forget details of all sorts.

[A sigh.] I happen to know a creeper myself! But I unfortunately don't actually know his name, or I would give it to you in a heartbeat.

Yeesh, that's terrible. What'd he do to gain creeper status? And more importantly, is he here?

Ugh! I hope not, but I think he would have made his presence known if he was. If he ever appears, my fist in his face is going to be the first thing he experiences!!

He's been a Peeping Tom for starters! And the things he called me, you wouldn't believe them!!!

I don't think I've ever heard you threaten violence before, so this guy's gotta be the king of all creepers. That alone makes me wanna sock this guy for you!

All girls should sock him! He's an abominable twerp and I don't know how his sister ever managed to put up with him!!

He's got a sister, too? That poor girl.

You can say that again. I wish we had heard something from her the whole time I was home. It would have been a relief! But no, the closest thing I get is hearing from him out of nowhere-

Oh! I'm sorry Mabel, I've been talking about my problems this whole time...

It's okay. My problem isn't even a problem anymore so we can talk about yours if you want. We can commiserate together.

No...if I keep talking about my problems, they aren't going to get better. I will just have to put them aside until something can be done about them, if the chance ever comes.

So, what the heck! Your problems are gone and mine aren't here. Let's enjoy that while we can!

That's the spirit! You know what we need to have? A 100% exclusive girls-only slumber party. Or shindig of any sort, really.

[Wow maybe they should totally plan something out]

I know, right? We'll invite all our closest gal pals around here and pig out on snacks, watch movies, and you know, girl stuff. Sound like a plan?

It definitely sounds like a plan!

I'll hit you up with some deets later if you don't plan it out first. Right now, I think I'm just gonna wish up a million pillows and bury myself in them.

I'll see what I can whip up, but let's do this together when you're feeling better. I do hope you feel better.
