First case.
[As soon as Tim found himself suddenly transported to a strange new place, he scurried over to a shadow and began to gather intel. Wherever he went, a journal appeared at the area he was inspecting. After awhile he realized it was the same journal appearing over and over. So, he finally picked it up and began to read through it. The entries gave him a decent idea of what was going on. Combing the entries with the view of the sky made it obvious he was no longer on Earth. Tim was no stranger to the multiverse. He knew that the name “Wayne” was recognized in some of the alternative Earths.
When Tim finally dictates an entry of his own, his voice comes out sounding nervous and awkward. Instead of introducing himself as Tim Drake, the ward of multi-billionaire Bruce Wayne, he's Alvin Draper; confused high-school student.]
Okay, so I know there's the whole “be careful what you wish for”, but this is kind of overkill. And by “kind of”, I mean completely. I just wanted to get out of my Calculus test! A fire alarm or sneeze attack would have worked.
[His voice sounds increasingly nervous as he speaks.]
So, uh, my name is Alvin Draper and I'm not from around here. I don't even know if I'm from the same world as this place. This is what I get for wishing I was in all of those sci-fi novels I've read, huh? Ahaha. Seriously, I never going to wish for anything again. Anyway, um, if anyone could let me know what's going on here and how I get back home, that would be great. Thanks.
[ooc: Just as a side note, since Tim's father is in a coma and not dead in his memories, he currently thinks he's the ward of Bruce Wayne and not his adopted son.]

Tim. Did we forget the part where I've been here for three years? You don't need to tell me how to handle my identity here. Bruce didn't even bother.
no subject
I caught that part and I'm not Bruce.
[Bruce wasn't the one who told her to never wear her Spoiler suit again, because Bruce doesn't worry about her the same way he does.]
What are you going to if someone from your world who is an enemy arrives, remembers who you are, and then we find a way out of here?
no subject
My enemies won't find out. Do I need to go down the list of baddies that have been here? [She ticks them off on her fingers.] Two-Face, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Hush. [Okay, several of those found out their identities, but shh. Tim doesn't need to know.] It hasn't been a problem. The people who know I'm Batgirl are people I know I can trust. They're people who can be allies, if we needed them to be. I've had to stand on my own two feet for a long time here, so I think it's pretty rude of you to show up and start talking to me like I don't know what I'm doing.
[Circles.]

Rude? [Stares at her in disbelief.] You're the one being rude. You're dismissing my concern like it's no big deal. The fact that you've chosen to share your identity with them because you know they'll keep it a secret, tells me you know there are risks involved. What if the others figure it out? Your cowl doesn't hide your hair color and your suit doesn't hide your build.

[She pushes back her hair. No, no, no. Fighting is bad. Reel it in.]
Be Alvin Draper. That's fine. Your identity is a secret, as pretty much anyone that knew you were Red Robin is long gone. But don't get on my case for this when I've been handling it fine for three years.

We're done here, Steph. [His voice is cold and he steps away from her.] You do whatever it is you want to do, that's what you always do. I'll find my room on my own and handle things my way.
no subject
No. You don't get to do that. You don't get to just storm off when you don't agree with me.

And it feels like you're not doing a lot of listening. I know this is a lot to adjust to, and a lot to process, but you can't just shut me out here when I'm not saying things you like. We have to be a team.

Runs a hand through his hair as he chews over her words. Being in this place is quickly becoming a nightmare for him. If Bruce, Dick, and another version of himself couldn't control what went on here, what chance does he have? He knows he's good, damn good at what he does, but he's not that good.
Plus, there's the whole situation with his father. Shoves those thoughts away because he can't afford to think about in this moment If he does he's going to quickly breakdown. Instead of saying anything else to her, he just gives her a defeated look. He knows she's right, but he can't bring himself to say it at the moment. He just wants to find his room and call it a night.]

We can talk more about this later. [Emphasis on talk.] We'll find a way to make this [vague motion around them] work.
[Them, their disagreements, their issues just beneath the surface that like to bubble out, stuff like that.]
Let's keep looking for your room.
no subject
[Tim doesn't return the smile, instead he keeps moving forward hoping to find his room sooner rather than later.]
no subject
Huh. Here it is.
no subject
Thanks for the quick tour and helping me find my room.
no subject
[Whoops, said that aloud. Steph grimaces and quickly changes the subject.]
No prob. So--tomorrow, right?
no subject
Sure, if you still want to.
no subject
no subject
I do and I don't, if that makes sense.
no subject
It does.
[She feels the same way.]
no subject
no subject
Sure thing. You know where I'll be.
[Awkward smile, and she takes a step back.]
no subject
[Returns the awkward smile and gives her a brief wave, before coming the door over.]
no subject
[The smile drops off her face the moment the door is shut, and she scrubs her hands over her face. Wow, really? Did they really just argue about several things, one being the current status of his father?
If this was how Day One of Tim's stay in Paradisa was, Steph can only imagine how the rest will be.
She sighs, turns around, and heads back to her room to figure out what she should and shouldn't tell Tim.]
