Wonderland: Day One
The residents of Paradisa who ventured into the lobby on the 13th would find something new there; a mirror spanning an entire wall. Given recent happenings, who can blame them if they're cautious? Trouble is, this mirror seems to really want to bring people in, because you don't have to get too close before you're through the looking glass.
Once you've gone, you may find that you're not quite yourself.[Notes/Reminders: Type 1 and Type 2 characters will believe they are Wonderland natives. All characters, including those not entering Wonderland, will be able to use their journals; Wonderland "natives" will think it is a communication device exclusive to Wonderland, although communication between Paradisa and Wonderland through the journals is absolutely possible. You may NPC any number of Tulgey Wood creatures, except for the Jabberwocky.]

[Let's not do anything stupid like spend this extra time together talking.]

So what now?
[She walks ahead, peering around a hedge.]

You make us sound like a team.

[She thinks better of putting that in the form of a question. Something told her she wouldn't like the answer if she did. And hey. If she has to be lost, she'd rather do it with him. No matter how irritating he can be.]
no subject
I'd enjoy it while you can. [He doubts they're alone. These things are never that easy.]
no subject
Well, I'm trying.
... And you're creeping me out, you know that?
[
Of course, she'd been too lazy to actually read the journal's history, butThere was something about the way he spoke in general that felt like he was expecting the worst from every situation. Like everything would end.]no subject
I wonder if we could climb over the top. [--of the hedges, he means. Isn't it nice the way he always answers questions?]
no subject
Well, I'm not giving you a boost.
[About as nonchalant as she could muster.]
no subject
Why not?
no subject
I'm not really the boost giving type.
no subject
Then I guess you're offering to climb.

Ok, fine.
[She lifts herself out of the hedge and puts a hand on her hip, the other beckoning in true come at me bro fashion.]
Gimme a lift.
no subject
Might want to take your heels off first.
no subject
There. Heels off.
[She would have been a good 3 inches shorter, where it not for the fact that her heels had been sinking into the grass before.]

When you get up there, try to latch on to something and at least see what direction to go in. [Then he adds (since he doesn't trust Faye to know this already)--] Just make sure no one else spots you.
no subject
Well, there's a castle over there, and a forest over there. [She points to the left and to the right, respectively. Her attention is drawn back to the left, however.] It doesn't look like our castle at all.
no subject
Is that all?
no subject
Yeah, that's it.
no subject
How close is the castle?
no subject
no subject
At least you can see the end of it.
