[There are three things that have started today out on a rather weird note. First, she overslept. Second, she was awoken by a cold nose and a tongue. Third, that cold nose and tongue did not belong to Tony. It could've been at least somewhat normal if the random dog that she had waking her up was Tony on one of those rumored animal changes. Instead, it was just a dog. A dog that wanted to be fed, apparently. Which she did. Of course, this isn't her dog. Which brings her to this.]

Did anyone misplace a corgi? He seems friendly, but I was wondering if it might be a resident - unless someone can identify him?

[Spike has been a little preoccupied, but once he has time to read, he just so happens to open the journal up to this page. ... He could say nothing, and let this golden opportunity to get out of that responsibility he never asked for. That seems like the smart thing to do--]

It's a shame you have to wonder. [Then the voice did sound familiar. That's the only reason he spoke up.]

[She does notice that the dog seems to perk up every time Spike speaks.]

How can you tell?

Every time you say something his ears twitch and he looks toward my journal.
