Vongola XX -- Dictated/Action for Casa de Guts

[Tsuna awakes in his bed with a small start and promptly sits up. He blinks blearily, looking toward the window, lifting an arm to block the light when it hits his eyes.]

Ah... [He blinks then, and looks down at his blanket, recalling what had happened to him for what had seemed to be the past few days. But he was back in his room at the house, and in his pajamas, so...]

What a strange dream. [He then gets out of bed and yawns and stretches, heading to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He opens the door, and...

There's a pair of white rabbit ears popping innocently out of his hair.]

Heehh!? [There's a thud as Tsuna falls over.] Rabbit ears?

[And then he cautiously raises a hand and tugs on one to make sure Reborn wasn't playing a dirty trick on him or something. He can feel a sensation from the tug, and it doesn't come off.]

N-no way! They're real?! --ah, my feet! [And now he's noticing that they're all dirtied, and a little cut and sore, too. The cogs are turning in his head.]

Wait... then...

[He pales a bit.]

All of that actually happened?!

[Wait he catches weird something out of the corner of his eye and looks]

[And then he notices the rabbit ears] - Ah.

[He notices that reaction and draws back a little, pinning his ears back so they're not visible.

And then he brings up his hand in a sheepish wave.]

A-ah, hi, guys.

Tsuna, hi! [Asuna gives a wide smile, not even mentioning the ears.]

[He takes Asuna's lead, nodding and trying not to mention the ears at ALL]

Y-yeah! I just put on tea, come join us.

U-um...

[He debates making a last ditch effort to escape, but who is he kidding? He's not getting out of this one. He sighs and comes over, ears still pinned back in embarrassment.]

We were just talking about where I was before Paradisa. Would you like to hear?

[He cautiously raises a curious ear.]

Where you were before Paradisa?

[And he'll sit down at a chair.]

Well, to put it bluntly, I was trapped in a game.

[His ears perk forward.] Eh? Like an actual video game?

It was a virtual reality game. You know those online roleplaying games?

Ah....I think there's one on the castlenet...called World of Evercraft or something.

It's our version of...the internet. [Yes, he thinks that's what it is]

Oh. [He rubs the back of his neck.] I don't use computers a whole lot.

[He looks to Asuna, bunny ears swiveling accordingly to show the shift in attention.] Anyway, what were you saying, Asuna-san?

Hm? Oh, right. I was trapped in one of those. It was a virtual reality massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, a VRMMORPG, called Sword Art Online. SAO was the first of its kind, and only ten thousand copies were sold. However, all of us who logged in were trapped.

[She pauses.] There's a helmet like device that connects to our brain's nervous system, and that's how it all happened.

[As a RA, he almost wants to ask why the hell did you think that was a good idea, but he'll abstain]

Our bodies are comatose. The game takes control of all our senses, we're fully immersed in it.

Here, though, it looks like I have my body back. [She glances at her hands on the table, flexing her fingers.] But I have my avatar's clothes and abilities. It's strange.

Wow... [Yep he's just going to keep quiet with the WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT]

Maybe the castle decided to do that. Years ago, there were people here who also were involved with some game, and they still had powers from that. [Though they also thought it was a game ahem..]

That is strange. But, is that your loss, then, or is it just a side effect of being pulled from the game? [Not being in your own body definitely feels like grounds for a permanent loss '^']

I think it's a side effect. It wouldn't be much of a loss if it benefitted me, right?

It's true. A loss would never be that helpful.
