[Steve hasn't been in the best of moods following his conversation with Katniss. That isn't going to stop him from trying to sound positive as he addresses the castle at large. His delivery is noticeably flat however.]

That was some trip, huh? Did everybody get back okay?


[Friends]

So I might have jumped through the mirror after someone. I know I should have said something sooner, but everything got a little funny in there. Just thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering where I went.

[There's a long pause before he leaves the filter with a question:] How have you been?

[He'll leave his journal open while he goes to work on a project. He started it in early December after Peeta's announcement about Rue's departure. Steve had promised Peeta she wouldn't be forgotten. Since Peeta's chosen tribute on his world was a painting of Rue, Steve had thought he'd try the same thing. Life gets busy though. He never got as far into the project as he would have liked.

With Peeta gone and what he learned about Katniss before going through that mirror still fresh in his mind, he is recommitting himself to finishing it. If anyone would like a word with him, they'll find him working in front of an unfinished painting of a little girl by a lake.]

You're a painter? [He laughs after a second.] That would explain why you're here.

[She smiles and nods]

Yeah. I actually work here. None of my stuff's hanging up here, though.

Really? I don't know how we ever missed each other. I've been living here for past couple of months.

[eat_me_beat_me]

Well I've been like this since the first of this month so I haven't been around much the past couple of weeks. [She shrugs] Other than that I don't really keep solid hours or anything. But that is strange.

Maybe we'll see more of each other, now. [She smiles] Or... at least when I'm back to normal.

[valuedstrength]

You're going to have to point yourself out to me. I might not recognize you so easily when you're big.

[eat_me_beat_me]

[She laughs]

I'll make sure to do that. It's so weird. I've met a whole mess of people since I've been like this. I'll have to reintroduce myself to all of them.

Maybe that's for the best. You catch a lot of attention like that unless I missed the group of people who are used to really small folks.

[He really thinks that could be a thing.] One of them has got to make a decent friend.

Well there is another girl on a fairy loss right now... and an actual fairy, too. I don't know if I'd have met her if I wasn't her size.

Really, though, I've met a bunch of people by literally running into them when I was still learning how to fly.

I can't believe there's more than one of you. [He figured the influx of fairies was a one time deal. Steve chuckles.]

No hard feelings from them?

I couldn't, either, until I saw it for myself.
