[Steve hasn't been in the best of moods following his conversation with Katniss. That isn't going to stop him from trying to sound positive as he addresses the castle at large. His delivery is noticeably flat however.]

That was some trip, huh? Did everybody get back okay?

So I might have jumped through the mirror after someone. I know I should have said something sooner, but everything got a little funny in there. Just thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering where I went.

[There's a long pause before he leaves the filter with a question:] How have you been?

[Gallery filter]

[He'll leave his journal open while he goes to work on a project. He started it in early December after Peeta's announcement about Rue's departure. Steve had promised Peeta she wouldn't be forgotten. Since Peeta's chosen tribute on his world was a painting of Rue, Steve had thought he'd try the same thing. Life gets busy though. He never got as far into the project as he would have liked.

With Peeta gone and what he learned about Katniss before going through that mirror still fresh in his mind, he is recommitting himself to finishing it. If anyone would like a word with him, they'll find him working in front of an unfinished painting of a little girl by a lake.]

Not really wanting to be in the castle, Arya heads over to the gallery. She lets herself in. ]

Jo? ...Jo?

Oh. Hello. [ Not Jo, but she remembers him. ]

[Perfect excuse. It takes Steve a second to place Arya with the noticeable physical changes. Given the complete one-eighty physical change he went through it's not as hard as it should be. He really has been out of touch lately if he hasn't noticed this.]

... Arya. Hi. [He goes to set down his paint brush.] Jo's... around. I think. [He's been in his own head since he got back.] Can I get you anything?

No. I was coming to talk to her. I forgot to tell her I was in that mirror place so I couldn't come to work.

[ Never mind that Jo was in the mirror too... ]

Oh. I didn't know you worked here. [Not the point.] If it helps, I've been in a coma twice and she still hasn't fired me. I'm sure you've still got the job.

Yeah. [He's got no clue what that was either.] I've heard almost getting killed by something is sort of tradition around here when something like this happens.

That's nothing I'm not used to. But it doesn't make it any less of a problem.

I need to figure out a safe place to put the kids when this happens.

Yeah that is big problem. The kids here run into the danger every time from what I've noticed. [A beat.] There aren't too many people who make that a personal responsibility right out the gate.

[In fact he can't really think of any. He doesn't want to generalize since he might not be looking in the right places.] Do you have some kids of your own?

[Technically, Dairine had left with Katniss, so he had jumped after BOTH of them. Oh boy... This was going to be fun to explain.

I'm sure we were all lost at some point. It was new territory for everyone far as I know.

[Nora didn't mind the company. She might have been on a loss but that wasn't going to keep her from the gallery. She doesn't want to interrupt a fellow artist at work but, well, she's curious. She flies closer, peeking at what Steve's painting.]

[Steve tries not to stare at Nora when she gets closer, but a tiny person with wings is pretty new for him. He offer up a bashful smile as the start of an apology.]
