[Ezio is thinking about how much better things are as of late. Things are perking up a bit –– not only in the figurative sense, but the literal sense, as well. Oh? I do not understand what women shop for in the city when the castle can give you anything.

I don't wish for anything in the castle if I can avoid it. Why do you think I live and work out here?

I suppose that is true, but does the castle not create what is in the city?

I'm sure some things are, but the people in the city run their own businesses and supply their own products most of the time. I think they've just picked up on trends that pass through the city with castle residents. And even if things that have been wished up end up being sold there, I'd still rather take that chance than make the wish myself.

Besides, sometimes you see something that you wouldn't think of wishing for. And shopping isn't just about buying things, it's also a fun social activity.

Ah, yes, women and their shopping. Back in Italy, I escorted courtesans during their shopping sometimes, as their bodyguard. Only women enjoy shopping so much, they can look at one fabric for hours, comparing it to others, and still not choose to purchase it.
