Um! H-Hello, everyone... [Colette might sound just a tiny bit sheepish as she talks over the journal. Have you ever been in that situation where something big happened in your life, but it was a private matter? And then you're not sure if you should be telling people that it happened, because it's not exactly something that comes up easily in casual conversation? So now the time has come that you actually have a question for a lot of people regarding this new development, BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Life is hard. So Colette sounds a touch... nervous as she regards the journal. It's definitely a good kind of nervous, but still. Nerves.]

Every year around the same time, a lot of people here celebrate a holiday called Valentines day! Its a holiday from Earth, I think, where people do special things for the people that they really care about.

[it's not coming up super soon, but still, two and a half weeks. That's soon-ish.] So! Um, I've celebrated the holiday before, but I was wondering... If you're suppose to do something different if there's someone that you really like, and they said that they like you too, and you might be... dating?

Mm hm. I've loved him for a very long time, so... this almost doesn't feel real.

Congratulations. [ She wonders if it would be more honest to say "beware" but not everyone has such dangerous blood in their veins. ]

[she responds with another sheepish giggle]

Will you tell me about him?

Ah, alright! If you don't mind. [because, really be careful... Colette could talk about Lloyd for daaaaaaaaaaaaaays]

His name is Lloyd... We come from the same world, and he was my very first friend. He's... really brave and strong. He always believes in wonderful future, and he works very hard to protect everyone in the world. Sometimes he can get bored easily, and he complains when he's tired... but he's really curious about every new thing that he sees, so he's never bored for long.

[ Lucrezia wouldn't mind that! She really just wants to hear the voice of a girl in love and maybe hear it in between the words. ]

A lust for life is a rare trait.

Mm hm! And because he's so strong... he's able to make others believe that things can get better. Even when things seem hopeless, when Lloyd says that everything will be okay, he says that because he's going to do everything that he can to make that wish come true.

Oh! And he's also very good at making things. His father was a smith, so Lloyd has been making weapons and various items ever since he was really young. He even sells some of the things that he makes in town, it's really fun to watch him work.

We have another word, similar to love, to mean captured, captivated. I think it suits you.

Captured? But that makes it sound like I've been kidnapped.
