☽ 004 [ Full Moon ] -- Action.
[ A lone howl rips through the silence of the forest, a long, bone-chilling howl that sends shivers down your spine at the very sound. A dark creature lurks in the woods tonight, neither fully wolf nor human, but a strange and terrifying sort in-between. He is huge and covered in tawny fur, all teeth and claws as sharp as daggers. Gone is the human mind of Remus Lupin, for tonight, Moony reigns king.
He stands rigid under a pool of moonlight, maw lifted to the sky to drink in the scents and sounds drifting on the cold, night air. His plumed tail stands high, the tip twitching as his body hums with nervous excitement. The faint scent of man drifts past, awakening a familiar hunger deep in his bones. Moony is ultimately distracted, though, by the unfamiliarity of his surroundings. This is not the forest he is accustomed to, the trees feel too different. Claws scrape anxiously at the snow under his paws and he croons low. New place. New place.
Moony lifts himself up on his hind-legs, ears pressing back against his skull as he howls again, this time louder and more confident than his last. This shall be his domain.
Enter the forest at your own peril, for Moony will not recognize friend from prey... ]
(ooc: Feel free to encounter Moony if you wish, but please be warned that he will attack without hesitation. Animals will not be harmed unless they pose a direct threat to him, though. Marauders! Please feel free to jack any thread you feel like!)

Okay seriously, why did anyone not think it was a good idea to tell the rabbit this place had bloody WOLVES? Did they not think it would be an important thing to mention?
Maybe it won't be able to see him. ...Okay so most animals could, but this is a strange world and maybe he'll be lucky. He was never one to run from a possible fight, but when it came to all things canine? Best to just...avoid it at all costs.
So, there's a six foot rabbit trying to sneak back to his burrow in the gardens. Totally invisible, seriously not here dingo. DOOP DOOP]

[ The voice ought be familiar. In a long black cloak, Arya creeps closer to him, her steps silent. She had heard the howling and tossed on the first warm clothes she could find. If Nymeria is out there and if it's her... ]
no subject
That is until the voice of a girl could be heard nearby. Moony paused, ears pricking up to listen and nose twitching. Now there is worthwhile prey.
With a growl, Moony turns to chase the voice, tail high and hackles rising. ]
no subject
Careful, there's something out here. [His ears turn, listening]
Its coming this way. [He'll be pulling his boomerangs out, dog..wolf...whatever it was, he would still defend Arya first]
no subject
Nymeria?
[ She's waiting for a familiar howl. Please be her, please be her. ]

no subject
Rack off, ya bloody big dingo.
no subject
What sort of wolf is that?!
no subject
He begins to pace back and forth, eyes never leaving Bunnymund's frame as he tries to look for an opening around him. ]
no subject
Moony no kill. ]
no subject
Best get out of here little brumby that thing means business, whatever it is.
no subject
Which is when Bunny's wish of MORE DOGS comes true as a massive direwolf jumps in front of Arya. She faces Moony, fangs bared in a violent snarl.
...that threw the cautious plan to the seventh hell. ]
Nymeria! Come!
[ Arya turns and flees, praying to the old gods and the new Nymeria will actually listen this time. ]
no subject
The girl's voice is what triggers another bout of blood-lust.
The moment she calls for her wolf and turns to flee, Moony snarls and tries to leap around Padfoot and Bunnymund, not wanting his prey to get away from him. ]
no subject
Moony retreat no kill
When he leaps forward, though, Padfoot lunges to stop him, making to tackle Moony to the ground. He can't let him get to the girl.
Moony bad! Moony no kill! Moony attack bad! ]
no subject
You'd best behave yourself, mate, This is your last warning.
no subject
But when she tries Nymeria blocks her way. For once, the direwolf bares her fangs at her. When Arya tries to get past her, Nymeria snaps at Arya's elbow. ]
What is wrong with you?!
[ Surprise keeps her moving away. The direwolf takes advantage and herds the girl further from the animals. ]

His mind flashes with white-hot pain, cutting through the bloodlust like a sharp knife. He snarls as he tries to struggle, tries to remove the pressure the Rabbit's weight puts on him, but the sudden feel of a serrated edge against the back of his neck stops him.
Fear courses through him, the girl entirely forgotten, and he looks to Padfoot desperately, whimpering wolf-words to him.
Moony hurt. Mate help. ]
no subject
He barks at Bunnymund, pawing at the large rabbit urgently.
Moony not bad. No hurt friend. ]
no subject
What's wrong with you?
no subject
No kill, no kill. ]
no subject
In fact there was something peaceful about the way the moonlight lit the snowy forest. At least until the howling started.]
"The fuck was that?"
no subject
except for the howling. when that started Dextera started walking faster. the mute didn't know what it was but it really didn't sound friendly.]
no subject
Well, it wasn't like he had anything better to do. He rises into the air and begins speeding towards the source of the sound.]
no subject
Is...umm...is someone out there? Miss Sinclaire? Are you here now too?
no subject
no subject
YES. ( no, i have not been gleefully waiting for this)
A big wolf. Was it Nymeria? After finishing her meal, she's going to travel deeper into the forest to find whoever is making it. The closer she gets, the more she realizes it isn't the direwolf. And the second she actually pinpoints Remus, she crouches low on the branch she's claimed and observes.
Being here has changed her outlook some; she's willing to give this wolf a chance to identify itself. Ask first, snarl at later. ]
(Oh believe me, I've been waiting since I got here. XD)
That is until a cold breeze carries a strong scent of blood past his nose. Human blood.
Moony's body seems to spring to action in seconds, his mind a frenzy of blood-lust and huntattackkill. His hackles rise, a snarl ripping through his throat as he looks over his shoulder. His eyes gleam sharply in the darkness as he sets his sights directly on her and growls, low and threatening. ]
I can imagine! She'll feel bad for this later, but for now.. >]
In response, she growls right back. The body was human but her eyes and expression tell the tale -- while she had been human once, she's not anymore. Snarling: ]
Leave.

And accepted, it seems, as she starts to approach with her growling magnifying with every step taken forward. ]

Would her bite affect a werewolf like it would a human? She didn't want to chance that. For the time being, she never takes her eyes off of the wolf as she slowly makes a point of pacing around him. It isn't long, however, before she lunges at him. She couldn't bite him, but a punch to the snout is fair game. ]
no subject
He watches her carefully as she begins to pace around him. His hackles rise again, his entire body ready to spring. When she does lunge at him and takes aim at his snout, he takes the chance to snap at her hand the moment she's close enough. ]
no subject
Aware of the good, bad and ugly when it comes to various bites, she's not about to allow this wolf to claim any part of her hand. Another close call but, once she catches on, she jerks her hand away so that the only thing Moony enjoys is a mouthful of air.
What this a resident? Who knows, but they had to be stopped before they ventured beyond the wood. Aside from the occasional snarl, she doesn't advance as quickly again. She's watching now, searching his face and eyes for anything that might shed light on her dilemma.
Full werewolf, or tortured soul? She just doesn't know. Wolves traveled in pack but, at least for the time being, there's only the one. You're absolutely maddening to this kid, Moony. ]

Padfoot alpha.
Somewhere, in the cramped space of his animal brain, the territorial tone in his friend's lupine voice doesn't go unnoticed. For everyone's sake, he needs to remind Moony who was truly in charge. ]
no subject
He whimpers as he steps forward cautiously, lifting his head only to give Padfoot's noise a little lick.
Padfoot alpha. ]
no subject
He pulls away and gives a playful yip now, as he turns and bounds further into the woods, inviting him to come play in the dark depths. ]
no subject
As Padfoot pulls away and yips playfully, Moony perks up and responds with a yip of his own, tail wagging a little. He bounds after Padfoot excitedly, racing him through the trees and howling for joy. ]
no subject
When he finds himself at a river, he skids to a halt before giving a happy yip and looking behind him for the werewolf following him. ]
