[ This past month has been a trying one all the way around, culminating in her fighting with a werewolf shortly after hearing someone else she was attached to had left. Now, another had followed them. And Arya, she's still trying to wrap her mind around the change in her. The one she loved and trusted more than anyone here, and she couldn't do anything to help.

It's been a few days, but she's finally found her way back to the castle. She's fallen into old habits; in that it looks like she hasn't showered since she left the castle last and her clothing is caked with dirt and claw marks in the chest of her sweater. So, where does a lonely vampire kid go to gather her thoughts? Why, the roof, of course! Rather than dictate, she pens in a few filters. ]

[ Oh, this is all kinds of awkward for her. It's taken her months to decided that this might be a good idea. Even then, it's only a might. ]

[ The journal picks up a sigh, then she sets the pen aside to dictate instead. If she wanted to meet any of them, she had to speak up and stop being so distrusting. ]

[ After mulling over various things for a good hour and a half, she begins a trek to her final destination before sunrise; Lana's place. Truth be told, she's not even sure why she decided on Lana but some of it probably has to do with wanting to continue giving Arya her space.

After two false starts, she eventually knocks on her door. ]

I'd go easy on thinking that you're accepted. You're possibly tolerated here, as long as you're on good behavior. They don't have a high tolerance for vampires feeding on their friends and family.

[Katherine sighs.]

You're not alone here. There's another from my world here. I've heard of others too.

There have also been incidents of residents from the castle being turned into vampires.

And there are hunters here, who know nothing but killing vampires.

I won't let my guard down.

I can't feed from anyone without turning them. [ Another thing she's filing away for later; she wants to know how a bite works in other worlds. She's got the distinct feeling that the vampires from other worlds are much more different than she realizes.

She'd like to not turn everyone she bites, thanks. ]

There was another vampire here named Mavis. She left but I knew there were a few others because of her. She was able to live off of a blood substitute, but I know others feed. Since arriving, the clinic has given me the blood I've needed every week. It isn't the same, but it.. works.

I don't know how long it will last.

I've never heard of that. Are you concerned the clinic will stop feeding you? You can wish for blood, the castle can provide it to you down to the specifics. [She has had Ryan Gosling's blood and Brad Pitt's just to see if she could. The castle might be lying to her, but she doesn't know that.]

Blood will never be a problem.

I just know I won't always be in control and I don't like that. The more I hear about the losses, the less I want to deal with one of them. I wouldn't want to be the reason somebody turned but one day? I know I will be here.

[ Only the fairest of them all for Katherine as far as blood goes. ]

It was easier when I didn't know them.

[ Considering she just spilled her guts to her, one would think that saying something as simple as her name would be a cakewalk. But it actually takes her a minute or two to decide that it isn't an awful idea. ]
