[Now that she's properly clothed and knows that this is, in fact, not the carnival as she'd originally thought, Sunny wants to explore. She's mostly been in town since she's arrived and hasn't had much of a chance to look around the castle, yet. She's thrilled to be with her sister and happy to be able to spend time with her in happier times without the threat of a horribly disguised villain swooping into their lives to ruin them but sometimes a baby has to step out on her own and take a look around.

She's made it as far as the lobby.

It took her a while to get there and now that she's there she can't resist the allure of all of the hard objects around the room just DYING to be chewed on. She grins, knowing JUST what she's going to spend her afternoon doing.]

Bite! [Which, of course, translates to "There are so many wonderful things in this castle for me to bite! Where should I start?"]

((OOC: Open! Sunny will be found in the lobby for a good part of the afternoon chewing on tables, statues, benches, the stair banister... anything solid that most people wouldn't even dream of chewing on, really.))

[hey now that he knows who this baby is, he is going to introduce himself properly. Percy isn't sure she'll know the "world is quiet" code but she may know the other one. She's smart for a baby]

[She pauses. Oh hi strange new person. She pulls her teeth out of the wooden arm of the couch and straightens, waving]

[wait, back up. he snickers, softly, as he realizes what he just said] No, you know what, never mind. Gnaw away. You waitin' for someone?

[She grins, showing off her four very sharp teeth as she nods. Hey look, someone else who knows her name! His voice sounds very familiar, too. She thinks for a moment, trying to place it...

Mark? [Which obviously means "Are you Mark, the DJ I spoke to over the journal?"]

[Steve has started not to be too surprised when he finds something weird when he exits the Lux. A baby chewing on things tops everything else he's found so far though. He didn't even know babies could be here with that one glaring exception when Lysandra arrived. He looks around to see if any adults are with. When he spots none, Steve walks over to stand near her. He's not sure what he can do, but leaving a baby alone is unacceptable to him.]

Hey there. [He leans down.] Do you have a mama or daddy around? [He's probably wasting his time, but she can speak so it's worth a shot.]

[Oh look, another stranger. Although Sunny had been told by her parents that she should be careful while talking to strangers she had learned through recent events that sometimes it is necessary and even beneficial to do just that.

Ever polite she smiles.]

bisglins. [Which, of course, means "No, sir. My parents died in a terrible fire. My sister is here, though. She's probably in her shop in town."]

Oh boy. [Steve doesn't speak baby. :( He sighs and takes a seat.] I'll just sit here with you if you don't mind.

[Sunny shrugs. Why should she mind? She doesn't own the couch so she certainly doesn't mind sharing it as long as he doesn't mind.]

Nom? [which roughly means "would you kind terribly if I continued chewing on the couch while you sat?]

[Steve can guess that one... He thinks at least.] Sure, you can nom. [He's eying that couch.] I'm pretty sure it's safe.

[She glances at the teeth marks she's already left in the couch. Well if it wasn't safe she'd probably know that by now. It was just a couch, after all.]

[Chell's wandering into the lobby from the hallway, when she notices the adorably cute kid gnawing on a table leg. She stops, staring with huge eyes. What the heck? Well that's new...

Sloowly she walks over and crouches down next to the kid. Hmmm. She's juuust considering biting on a table leg too, just to see what the alure is. But instead she speaks. Nobody's around, and this is a kid...So things should be safe...]

[Chell blinks. She has noooo clue what the kid just said. No clue at all, but hey, she's friendly enough. And Chell thinks it's neat for a kid to have teeth that sharp. And they're very nice teeth. So she'll just guess at what was said.]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Chell... And you have very nice teeth. They're very sharp. I bet that's why you chew on table legs, isn't it?

[Chell's treating her like an equal, not like a little kid. Which anybody around would probably think was odd, but hey what would they know? :D]

[She grins a little wider. The girl may not be able to understand her but at least she's trying and she's very friendly which is more than she can say about other people she's met in her young life.

She points at herself]

Sunny. [which roughly translates to "My name is Sunny Baudelaire. It's nice to meet you, Chell."]

[Chell grins too. Hey. She likes meeting people when they're small and cute.]

"I like your name, Sunny. It fits you and it's pretty."
