[ This post takes place approximately twenty minutes after the old standard of 'wake up, freak out, and find yourself within an obscenely huge castle with a magical Pagemaster-looking book'. Yukiko has calmed herself enough to leave her room, sitting on a small couch in the hallway outside of her room. She smooths down the pages a few times, sending a crinkling noise across the page-waves, and clears her throat nervously.

This book's been writing itself ever since she started looking at it. Maybe it's time to reach out herself. ]

Um...hello? This is Yukiko Amagi.

[ Her breath catches in a soft gasp. Yup! That certainly did write itself. She clears her throat again, her feet fidgeting in front of one another. ]

I'm sorry if this sounds silly, but everyone else seems so settled in...I'm not really sure what's happened here. This isn't-- well, I wasn't really expecting to be here. [ A pause. She tries not to look too consternated. ] I'm not sure where here is.

If anyone could tell me that, I'd- mm. It'd be very appreciated. Thank you.

[ Now she'll just stare at the book, trying to avoid the second round of freaking out. As far as she knows, the TV had just short-circuited and dumped her out into this new world after Void Quest. Maybe this was another part of the TV World...? Maybe this book wasn't communicating at all, but just. Writing itself, somehow.

Stranger things had happened. ]

[Yep, that's all you're getting until you answer. She's still processing the fact that she's actually hearing someone from home she knows that isn't a psycho killer.]

[Mitsuru's attention was caught by the mention of the name. Yukiko Amagi? She was in the P-1 Gran Prix, and she has heard of the Amagi Inn during their stay in Inaba]

Amagi? This is Mitsuru Kirijo, we have met before in Inaba although you might not remember.

[ A guest from the inn, maybe? She's glad she has the privilege to crease her brow and really think, studying the name on the page intently.

Nope. Not a thing. ]

I'm sorry...I afraid I don't recall that name.

I see. You must have came here from a much earlier time when I met you and your friends. [Well, that should save her time in explaining the P-1 Grand Prix, maybe]

[She sounds relieved, though. Having one of her friends from home here could be a lot of fun, and she wouldn't feel so far away from everyone else anymore!]

Just, don't freak out, okay? There's a lot of weird stuff about this place, and it'll take you a while to get used to it.

Do you know where you are?

[There's a familiar sound of a Persona being summoned over the journal, even as she asks.]

Um...inside some sort of castle? N-not mine, though.

[ That one was far gaudier, and much foggier. Yukiko picks up on that sound and relaxes; if Rise is on the case, they'll be together in no time. ]

I'm so glad somebody else is here.

[scoring]

I suppose so...when would that have been, exactly?

A 'magic' castle? How, exactly?

[For Yukiko, Rise's voice echoes in both the journal and over Rise's Persona.

While searching the castle, she decides to explain a few basic points.]

Yeah, it's a castle, but it's not inside the TV. It's...

[Oh man, how to explain this without freaking someone out?]

... It's kind of like a weird vacation! This place takes people from home for a while and then puts them back where they left.

[Crap, that didn't sound as good out loud as it did in her head. But she's located Yukiko, at least.]

Just don't freak out, okay?! I'm on my way...

I see...we're not even close to that point yet, myself. [ She hums, thoughtfully. Rise had cleared a few things up, but this was still pretty crazy. ]

How is that possible? Coming from different times?

Don't worry. I'll be okay.

[ A weird vacation. It certainly was that. Yukiko lets herself think about it, falling silent to just wait for Rise to arrive. ]

Here is called "Cair Paradisa" or as a few people have taken to calling it... "Castle Wonderfuck".

As much as any one has figured out, this place likes to grab people from different universes.

The book you're holding is your journal, it's the main form of communication here.

[ Five yen in the swear jar, mister! She winces a little at that word, glad it can't be seen. ]

I see...so these really are all different people. How many of us are there?

Hells yes, from talking animals to robots to little kids and everything in between... it's pretty fucked up.

I don't know if we have an exact count... people come and go at what seems to be the whim of the castle.

There seems to be a lot though... especially if you count the residents of the city/town beyond the castle.

That thought is still something I am mulling over. I saw one of your friends in the castle not too long ago. Kujikawa Rise, I believe.

Mm, Rise-chan already got in contact with me. [ She makes another thoughtful noise, toying with the edge of the page. ]

If you already know us from Inaba...is there anyone else here that you recall whom I might know?

Just Kujikawa and yourself for now. I made it a priority to see if anyone else in your group are in here as well. So far, there are only three Persona users in this castle. She doesn't know about Adachi yet, since he lost his memory right now]

[Yep, that's Yukiko all right. She can be really level-headed! It's something Rise kind of admires, actually.

It doesn't take long before Rise approaches where Yukiko is waiting.]

Yukiko-senpai~!

[She rushes over, smiling brightly. She doesn't wait for her to respond before clasping the other girl's hands in her own.]

It's so great to see you!!!

[She's really enthusiastic. For her, it's been over a month here in Paradisa and about a month back home since she's seen anyone from the Investigation Team!]

Not all of them... a lot of people seem to be natives. But I couldn't tell you how many of them there are.

The next big thing you need to know is that you are missing something. It's called a "loss" and it could be anything... a memory, an item, an ability... something.

[ She fumbles the journal, sending it down with a clatter. That one had come out of nowhere, and she needed to take a second here. How do we play this one...?
