She's Helen's daughter, deceased daughter for both Helen and Nikola in their times. [Not in his own though, and that's well, sort of important.] It's a bit of a prickly topic as you can imagine.

Montague John Druitt, he's another member of our little group with the ability to teleport, a trait Ashley has thanks to certain people. [But not by the usual means basically.

Which also means he's Ashley's father.] He was Helen's fiance.

I don't have any plans or someone to spend the holiday with, so perhaps I could tag along? Although a cave would not be my first choice to hide in...

I imagine he'd take to you like he does Nikola, so yes. Jack the Ripper is not one to be played with lightly, even if his madness has some cause in other things. [Which is a hint to look into things if she doesn't know that name.]

John, after taking the Source blood changed. [His voice almost cracks at that and he gets it back under control.] Into a murderer, one that the newspapers dubbed Jack the Ripper for the brutality of it all. I missed the signs for quite some time it was him. [And he's taking the responsibility of this because it's easier, yup.] Helen didn't take to kindly to that, not after she was pregnant by him.
