[Dairine steps up next to him amid her investigation of the ship. She stares at the screen with a puzzled expression.]
Not exactly what I'd expect in space.

It's Latin, well... The message isn't promising.
[Turning to the fellow also looking at the screens, ] Are you all right? From the castle, by any chance?

Good question. I've never even heard of something like that, and if what this says is true, I'm from over twenty years after this.

Someone lookin' to tempt fate, I'm betting. Stuff like this almost never works they want it to. It's no wonder they're sending a distress call. I bet someone turned it on, and it screwed everything up.

This is crazy...what on earth could we do on a ship we can't operate? How are we supposed to help anybody? And who in their right mind puts something that can create a black hole in a spaceship? Geez louise...

[It's not mocking per se, but it's not gentle. Alex doesn't like this at all - not that anyone here does - but she's been trying her best to hide her misgivings with sarcasm.]

[Tesla can't help it- the scientist in him is intrigued like nothing else, and his eyes flit over the screens, trying to gather as much information as possible.]
Creating black holes? I wonder how they managed that...
no subject
Oh, if you get enough energy it's pretty standard. This is the same idea that our spaceships use, except they create a bunch of tiny black holes instead of one big one. This seems pretty dangerous to me, but I guess it is supposedly 2047.

[ Much of what he saw was beyond him - switches and buttons and displays, spouting words and numbers that made his head swim. He tried to keep the bewildered look off his face, but it was difficult. ]

And the scissors are at least put to use as soon as he stops to read what's on one of the screens, the scissors smashing down through the glass. Well, that's at least one computer screen that has met the end of it's life. Maybe if he just makes this ship explode, they'll all be revived on the other one. ]
I'll show you Hell.
[ Someone stop him before he destroys all of the screens? At least one has to make it! ]

You are aware that's probably not very constructive, right?
