[It's the end of a long week filled with family, and one more night of eating too much and tolerating people you're probably sick of. The food tonight features grilled chicken, potato salad, coleslaw and ice cream for dessert.

Of course, one last night of family isn't complete without photos of the gang and some dumb games to cap the week off. Here we go again:]

[Take a plate to the long tables or steal away and sit on the grass (watch out for ticks) or by the lakeshore. There are ribs, veggie burgers for vegetarians, corn on the cob, salads, cookies, rootbeer floats and cookies for dessert... this is your last meal together as a family for who knows how long! Make sure you make the most of it.]

[Faith might not be a family member, but she's spent so much time with everyone here this week that she at least feels like she knows a few of them. Some of them she hopes she sees again if they ever come back.

She's just sipping on some juice and watching the families all gather around and enjoy another meal. She's be more than happy to talk with any of them, if they want to.]

[And, of course, Catelyn is doing her best to make sure that things go as planned. She has her own plate of food, but she has spent less time eating it and more time trying to prevent certain family members from creating chaos. She's sitting peacefully at the moment. That must mean she's stopped watching, right? Right?]

[It has involved no small amount of pestering for Gren to get Vicious out of his hiding spot in the woods and back to the resort proper for dinner]

It's the last day, anyway. It won't hurt.

[Not to mention he was still curious about his roommate's brother, but he kept that to himself]

It doesn't have to be painful to be unpleasant.

[Complaining aside, though, it was the prospect of a noisy crowd he disliked more than anything else, and he could, in fact, endure it long enough to eat.]

[He smirks teasingly and nods towards the tables]

Maybe we can find some familiar faces.

[Hard to tell if he's really being serious there, though.]

[He'd humor his roommate. For awhile, anyway.]

[It shouldn't be a surprise that Spike is hovering around the food again, but he does lift an eyebrow when he spots Gren. That could explain where Faye went.

But he's pretty good at glossing over awkward situations, so he walks on over.]

I was wondering how long you could hold out.

[Gren glances between Spike and Vicious with a raised eyebrow]

...why am I not sure which one of us you're talking to?

I imagine he means me.

[He side-eyed Spike a bit.]

Someone insisted. I didn't want to be rude.

[Because clearly, he worried about things like rudeness.]

[Spike chuckles, because there could not be two people more socially awkward. Apparently they need his help if they're going to stick it out.]

Don't worry, I'll let you know when to duck.

[It takes Gren a moment to answer, since he's putting the pieces together. Spike must be Vicious' brother, and Spike was Faye's brother...

Oh boy]

You'd do that? Considering how things ended with Faye...

Only one she got serious about. Although I'm pretty sure it was out of spite.

[Okay, wait. He totally lost the thread of this conversation somewhere, and the look he gives Gren says as much.]

You dated Faye?

[Naturally it takes Vicious calling attention to it to make him self-conscious]

...It was a long time ago.

[What, she didn't tell him? Is Spike the only one who pays attention to all of Faye's relationships so he can properly mock them...]

I bet she won't see it that way.

I know she won't. I ran into her at the check-in...

That explains her mood.

[She's been a bigger pain than usual, he means. He knew it couldn't all be from Spike picking on her.]

[He's looking between the two of them, wondering just what sordid history he's been missing out on.]

It ended abruptly, which was bad enough, I guess. You know how Faye takes rejection. I might as well have accused her turning me gay.
