ACADEMY Where young ninja are trained to become totally awesome! If you wander by, you might see some bright young ninja practicing their fighting skills in the yard outside. Going inside might mean you get roped into a demonstration for the kids, though ...

[she's been trotting through town, divested of her usual accouterments and bemusedly nodding to the townspeople who seem to know her. She left all that stuff in the room she woke up in because clothes sure as heck aren't necessary.

She pauses next to the yard, observing the foals kids. Some sort of military training? Aren't they a little young?






And seriously, guys. What the heck is a 'ninja?']

[Hell if Mufasa knows. But he'll be coming over anyway to watch with her. It's nice to see them not flipping out at him, at least.]

Disciplined young humans, aren't they?

[she greets him with a small smile. Looks like she's feeling better.]

They certainly look it. [headtilt] It doth seem unnecessarily violent, but I may not be the best judge of such things.

This may be a land in which such training is necessary. [Though Mufasa doesn't seem particularly partial to it, himself.]

The guards barring anypony from exiting certainly belie the generally peaceful atmosphere.

[ A certain pony might be seen practicing her own skills at the Academy. Seriously, walking on walls? That's going to take a lot of experimenting with to master, not to mention understand.

And so there's a pony walking on the walls inside of the academy, pausing only long enough to levitate a notepad and quill to jot down a few notes, then continue with the practicing.

And yes, she's wearing her Solid Sparkle outfit.... except the bandage is replaced with the Konoha headband.

Yup. Stylin'. ]

[ Twilight pauses. On the wall.

She glances over to Luna and gives a smile. ]

Oh, hello, Luna!

This thing? It's what I woke up with. I actually wore it when I broke into the restricted section of the Canterlot Library, but it seems that it fits in with the "ninja" theme going on here.

[yup, still wondering about the wall thing. It certainly doesn't feel like the usual pony magic.]

Thou broke into the - [she shakes her head. There are other things she wants to ask.]

What is this 'ninja' thou speakest of?

Ninjas are masters of stealth, acting mostly as spies and infiltrators. Uh, mostly fictional, from what I know of them, though apparently not here.

And they walk on walls too, I suppose, though I never read about that particular ability.

(This particular pony seems to be having much more fun than she should, bounding about, hopping from surface to surface and giggling as she does so. If not for that crown, one probably wouldn't even think Cadence was royalty; just a filly in a mare's body.

...ponies probably shouldn't be this athletic, but they are, apparently. Because ninjas. And it's fun.)

[hey, how'd you keep your royal things?

Anyway, she's still just walking on the boring old floor, though she's trailed by some of the younger kids asking to see her 'shadow trick.' She has no idea what they're talking about so...she might be trying to direct their attention to Cadence. Whoops.]

(To be fair, all she kept was her crown. They gave her sandals to replace her usual slippers, but they forgot she's a pony. Ponies can't wear human sandals. Oops.

Thankfully, Cadence can take a hint. Kids are her strong suit. Maybe not so much Luna's. So here she comes...rather, here she is, landing down from a rooftop with an acrobatic flip.)

You're getting a lot of attention, aren't you?

[she likes kids! She's just sort of stern and kind of scary.

Thankfully, the kids crowd around Cadence, ooh-ing and aah-ing at the flip. Luna, on the other hoof, hangs out a few paces behind the pink princess.]

It is not an entirely new thing, but foals on the whole tend to avoid me.

[At least this world change hadn't been an emergency. Alan had still been surprised when he'd awoken - a Japanese ninja world? - but it wasn't the strangest thing he'd seen since arriving at the Castle. He'd dressed in the clothes he'd found, put on the sandals, and tied the black...whatever the metal thing was... around his arm before going out.

He ended up at the Academy. Alan wasn't overly enthused to see kids fighting each other, ninja or not. He'd headed inside.

How that led to teaching math to the youngest class, he didn't know.

But now math is over and the kids are clamoring for a ninjutsu demonstration...

((Alan's in the standard uniform. Like what Genma, Kakashi, Iruka, etc. wear.))]

[Lemony is in much the same attire, but for some reason he's tied his bandanna around his left ankle. we don't know. he wanders over, wondering what the children are so excited about]

[Alan is trying to placate the kids, looking up from one of the smaller boys who'd been pleading very enthusiastically when some of them begin to direct their attention to the new "ninja". He recognizes his teammate, whatever Team 50 is for.]

Lemony - do you know anything about this ninjitsu thing?

[The boy corrects him: it's ninJUTSU, Bradley-san! Of course you know it! (No, he doesn't.)]

I... Well. I'm not going to encourage reckless, pointless violence. What I can Shiau you, however, is something just as important to your duties.... [he steps behind a pole in the courtyard and promptly disappears. this sudden jutsu thing has its perks]

If you learn how to hide, you can observe your enemy without being seen... And then you can learn his secrets, which make a far greater and effective weapon than any foot, fist, impromptu use of a nearby vegetable, or blade.

[Rinzler rumbles at the sight of his user. It's always good to see him around. Especially with confusing qorld change craziness.] User.

Hey. [He's relieved to see his program. At least someone here is probably just as confused as he is. Alan looks a little uncomfortable. Math is one thing, but this is something else. Of course, to further the situation, one of the kids tries to climb Rinzler: you sound like a kitty, Rinzler-san!]

[Rinzler doesn't fuss too much, other than a warning noise. Little users are strange. But Rinzler wouldn't hurt one.

But he'd appreciate some help, Alan.]

[Guess who wandered too close to the Academy and got snagged halfway through the day. Uh huh. Apparently Dair looks too much like an older student. Dairine is wandering through the hallways, planning on ditching (it wouldn't really be ditching, this isn't even her school!) when she recognizes one of the teachers.

Looks like Alan could use a distraction, and Dairine can certainly provide one. She raises her hand, bouncing up and down in her best “overly enthusiastic student” impression.]

Oh! Pick me, pick me!!

[The familiar voice catches his attention amidst the student's voices and Alan searches the room until his eyes lands on Dairine.

Pick her?

Oh--she's a wizard! She could probably do something to help him out.]

Ahh--yes, Dairine?
