Tadchan-a-Odog; earlier this morning
[Galadriel knew that he was gone the instant she awoke to an empty bed. He could have awakened early and risen before her. It was possible. But in her heart of hearts she knew. She couldn't feel him; no matter how she reached, she could not touch his mind with hers and that was answer enough.
It could not hurt to be certain, however. She slipped out of bed, threw a robe over her dressing gown, and made her way outside the room to check the nameplate. A blank spot under her own name stared back at her. That was it then.
She steps back into her room, seats herself on the couch, and opens her journal. The voice that comes through the pages is deceptively calm- cool, collected, detached.]
The Lord Celeborn of Lothlórien has been returned to his realm and to his people. On his behalf, I would thank all who showed him kindness and hospitality during his stay and request that you bring any unfinished business you have have had with him to my attention. My lord would not have his promises go unfulfilled.
[And then just in case you weren’t sure who she was, she signs her name in an elegant looping handwriting.]
-Galadriel, Lady of Lothlórien.
[And that was that. Another chapter closed. Another parting. She closes the journal and sits in silence for awhile, content to be alone with her thoughts.]

Don't thank him.
Just don't say anything.
He's okay with this never being brought up. ]

But don't worry, she won't say anything; she'll just be silently appreciative.]

Sorry to hear that.

[But there's a weariness to her voice for the observant listener. There's a long silence after that, almost long enough that you'd think she'd shut the journal.]
But you have my thanks for your sympathies.

[ It is all she writes, all she dare to write. Despite her feelings on the woman, Morgana knows what it is like to lose someone you love dearly. Lucky for Galadriel her love will not forget her or their love upon his return to his world, and for that she finds herself bitter.
But she cannot push it aside. ]

Thank you, my lady.

Galadriel,
I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. If you need anything. Anything at all I'm here.
-Phoebe

Thank you, my friend. I have the comfort of knowing this loss is but a temporary one. Do not worry for me overmuch.

Lady Galadriel
So very many people seem to be losing those they care about, lately ...
Lemony Snicket
It is very kind of you. But I do not think of it as a loss; we will see each other again in time. This is a merely a parting, and not a lasting one.

Galadriel;
I know it sounds silly coming from someone like me, but even if you live for a long time, having your loved ones disappear is really hard. It's okay to be sad or mad or whatever. You don't have to hide it, all right?
... I need to take my own advice, too. [A heavy sigh.]
Lloyd
You have a gentle heart, my young friend. [There's a small sigh on her end too.] I suppose some company would not be amiss.

I know you are, my friend, and I thank you for it. But this parting will not last; we will be reunited in the fullness of time. I need only remember that.

Galadriel - Text (Pretend it looks better than it really does)
Galadriel, I am so sorry. Your husband's a very nice man, and I'm glad I got to meet him before he left.
~~Sheena

You have my thanks for your words; your kindness will be remembered.
