dictated;

[ Perhaps in a sudden melancholy brought on by the disappearance of so many in recent weeks, and of the aging shift that took place, Vanyel has had a particular question on his mind...]

I know this might seem to be coming out of nowhere and perhaps a bit dark, but, please indulge me if you will.

I have heard the stories and the theories and assertions that when we are sent home, if we are sent home, we are returned to the time and place at which we were originally taken, as if our worlds had stopped in our absence. How many of you believe this is true? Can something truly be so powerful? And do you fear what has happened in your absence, if it is not?

I don't think we're really the source, per se. It needs us, certainly, perhaps for power, but I think there's more to it than that.

Yes, well. I doubt we would even be here otherwise. Unless you think it only wants us for amusement, which seems far worse, to me.
