Uh... Is it- working?
[Okay, those are definitely the letters that make up the word uh but the rest of it is just jumbled up nonsense. Still, Cass is just going to trust this thing is writing down what she's saying.]
I'm- lost. I think. Castle is big. In book room. Um, library. [Come on Cass, use the right names for things.] Could use [help] information. Um... tips? Meeting in person... would be best.
[Nothing happens for a minute, but then Cass remembers the important part about introductions: You have to actually introduce yourself.]
I'm Cassandra. Cain.
[If anyone does go looking for her, they'll find Cass poking through the books and possibly looking at them like she's reading them, but once you're close enough it's clear... she's holding the book upside down. Oops.]
((ooc: Cass can't read, so any written replies might give her trouble. Feel free to find her in the library for in person meetings!)

The relax part, though? It's entirely insulting. Maybe she won't rip his spine out but there's a pretty good chance she'll chuck a book at his face.]
Fine. Walk faster.

She walks towards him, but she's never been particularly good at personal space and she wants information, wants it now, so she doesn't stop at a respectable distance. Instead she gets in close, but she's shorter than him - nothing new - so she has to frown up at him once she's securely in his personal bubble.]
How do you- know that name?
no subject
Which name? Hers?
no subject
Yes, hers. Only name... that's important.

[Explaining his friendliness, of course. Normally, Ezio doesn't care much about new residents. Here, though, is different.
He's also glad he's in jeans and a button-up collared shirt today. He doesn't really feel like explaining that he's from 1488 right now, amidst the other confusion.]

And that does explain why his body tells her he knows her, but it doesn't clear up much of her confusion. She's still frowning, but at least now some of that desperate anger is bleeding out of her. He said is. Steph is, not was.]
What? [What did Steph say, what does he know? She isn't sure she likes the idea of strangers knowing things about her that Cass hasn't told them herself, but if Steph trusted him, maybe Cass can too.]
no subject
[Ezio isn't sure which part is more confusing to her.]
You are a talented assassin, hmm? Or the child of them, at least. I've looked forward to meeting you. [He grins.] Tim has asked that I send you to Stephanie so that she can explain things herself, though.
no subject
[And it's not that she's forgotten about Steph, but she can't do anything about her being here now. Tim is going to handle it, so she has to wait. She can do that. Right now, this man is grinning at her and he knows about her parents and that's something she can deal with.]
What else... did she say? Tell everything, only fair I know... what you know.

Must have been... long wait, to meet me. Worth it?
no subject
We will see, but the first impression has been great.

Ezio. [It sounds a little funny when Cass says it because she has enough trouble with her own language, but at least she tries.] Can use Cass. Since you're... Steph's friend.

[He holds out a hand, palm up, to take hers. He intends, of course, to kiss it :')]

What time... is that?

Of course. Did Steph tell you... how I understand people?
no subject
No. How do you understand people, then?
no subject
So, could understand you... without words. In not English, too.
