[Dave may be asking for Dirk, but that doesn't mean there's going to be an answer. As it turns out, Dirk was working on a robot when the castle started shaking. Because of this, he ended up getting electrocuted by the robot. He's currently out of commission.]

[The radio silence is enough to make Dave suspicious. Dirk is evasive as fuck, like Bro, but he's pretty sure he'd get into contact after a shake up this dramatic. Even if he's okay, it probably won't hurt to go check his room. Though he shouldn't be wandering the castle at all. He'll be what, five seconds tops? Just walk in, see Dirk isn't there and walk off thinking he's a fucking bastard.

He makes his way up to his room pretty quick and he knocks demandingly, waiting all of five seconds before shoving open the door.]

If you have your dick out we're going to have to discuss some shi-- [And that's when he catches sight of an appropriately dressed Dirk.] Shit. [He isn't going to waste any time scooting over and giving Dirk a shake, getting a strange tingly sensation and starting to put together what happened.] Christ- Wake up, asshole. You made a fucking mess.

[It's pretty obvious what happened. He's been working on Jane's robot, Anna, as it's sitting in front of his unconscious body. His hair is kind of frazzled, too, which he's not going to be fucking happy about when he wakes up. And when Dave gives him a shake, it takes a few seconds for him to come around, and he opens his eyes blearily.]

Dave?

[His voice is quiet, a little scratchy. His vision is blurry and he can barely see, even when he blinks a few times. The other thing he's immediately aware of is the searing pain in his hand where he must've gotten shocked. It's right between his thumb and forefinger, where he was holding the screwdriver. When he tries flexing his thumb, it only barely twitches.

He tries to sit up, but he feels kind of lightheaded and he just falls back onto his back and lets out a groan.]

What the actual fuck even happened?

[Well, okay. Dave isn't a doctor and he doesn't think he's seen anyone electrocuted before! Besides, everyone had been pretty out of sorts after the shock of it all. Some people just had a more literal shock, apparently.]

Yeah. [He answers curtly, his eyes darting around the room for a moment before they land on Dirk's hand as he flexes it. He lets out a quiet, strangled noise of surprise.]

Shit that's nasty. [But he turns his attention away from it to help Dirk sit up.] There was an earthquake or something, guess you got electrocuted. Think you can walk?
