[Something during the night has activated the ship's gravity core. There seems to be no evidence as to what caused it. Everything within the ship remains stable, but the ship itself shakes violently, and deep in the bowels, a ominous rumbling sound can be heard]

Hear what! There's nothing there! [But he's sounding more than a little panicky and unsure about that.]

And... you have a sword. Why do you have a sword?

The voices are everywhere! You'll hear them soon enough, see everything I see!

[Hands clench around her blade's hilt as she continues to talk, staring the young man down.]

I need it to protect myself. From everything else on this ship.

[And that is enough to shock Danny out of his paranoid distractions. He starts to grin nervously.]

Um, you know, the secret to dealing with voices in your head is not to answer back.

I have no choice! [She's dragging the blade as she approaches the other, eyes never leaving him.] Soon, you won't either.

[Danny might not have any ghost powers right now, but he didn't need them to tell that this situation was so not good. He slowly takes a step back as he looks around the hallway for ideas.]

Um, can't we talk about this? You know, get all those negative feelings out. And I'm sure we could find some nice piece of junk around here to take out some anger management on!

Time's wasting. As each moment passes, more and more of the corruption will set into your very being. Let me end it. [Blade's raised, she's ready to strike.] Now.

Yeah, I think I'm going to pass on that. Actually- [He suddenly plasters a terrified expression on his face as he points behind her and raises his voice in a frightened squeak.]

What's that? Is that the corruption?
