[Something during the night has activated the ship's gravity core. There seems to be no evidence as to what caused it. Everything within the ship remains stable, but the ship itself shakes violently, and deep in the bowels, a ominous rumbling sound can be heard]

[For those brave enough to check it out, it seems the gravity core has finally stopped spinning. All the rings have aligned, and a blinding light emits from the device, before settling to a strange blue-grey, water like surface. It sure can't be a good thing to fall into that right?]

AROUND THE SHIP

[And as the portal closes, its victims claimed, the gravity drive begins to slowly spin again. There seems to be no sign of the people who vanished inside the portal. But there are other concerns now, too.

Because now you'll be starting to catch glimpses of movement, out of the corner of your eyes. Perhaps even an odd noise here or there. The feeling that something invisible is watching you. But nothing seems to be around if you try to focus any attention on it]

[The Once-ler has been a little unnerved by the weird noises. He swears at one point he heard the giggle of a bar-ba-loot. But hey, Paradisa has played these kinds of tricks with his head before, so for the most part he is surviving pretty well. He's headed off, trying to find supplies, unaware of what's gone on in the core of the ship...]
