COMBINED CAMP: DAY THREE

[The morning ends the heavy storm, bright sunshine beaming down on the makeshift camp. Some of you may be injured from last nights incidents, but at least this is some downtime for you to recuperate. Tembo and Harding are arguing heatedly some distance from the camp, but otherwise the jungle is silent.

The camp is being visited, however. A pack of compsognathus have made their way into camp. They're little guys only ten inches high, easily the smallest residents on the island. They're currently scurrying around the camp, looking for any food to scavenge, seemingly not concerned with the people milling around]

I suppose we'd figure out what to do with my artefact.

[Fair enough. If he doesn't want to tell her, she doesn't want to pry. Instead, she'll just give him a little squeeze and change the subject.]

Tell me more Italian? Will keep me from... falling asleep.

[He ruffles her hair, gently.]

We will be here for a while yet, to regroup, I think... we should sit, so that you can rest properly.

[She holds back a sigh because that means moving and she really doesn't want to, but it isn't fair to keep him on his feet. With a nod, she pulls back too look around them for something that looks good for sitting but doesn't have a lot of people already gathered around.]

There?

[There's a surprisingly abandoned, surprisingly dry area with a few chairs not far away.]

[He nods, and then scoops her up bridal-style to head that way. B)]

[Welp, that solves that. Cass laughs quietly and puts her arms around his neck, leaning up to kiss his cheek.]

Such a gentleman.

I do try.

Do pretty well, sometimes.

[Other times not so much, but that's part of what makes him fun.]

[he sits down in one chair, resting her on his lap. :')]

[She's not at all surprised and really doesn't mind, he makes a good chair.]

Do gentlemen... randomly grope girls?

Randomly? I hardly think I have ever done it at random.

So then it's no surprise!

We've come long way, from... me threatening you, to this.

[She looks up at him to give him a sweet smile that doesn't match what comes out of her mouth at all.]

Wouldn't have... really ripped out spine. Not on first day, anyway.

[He chuckles, stroking her hair once more.]

I would have hoped not. I need that for various activities.

[She leans into his hand, then turns her head to kiss his palm.]

Yes. Would be cruel, to... deprive everyone, of your activities.
