(Dictated)
(Curiously, after blacking out twice - and dying once, Tylendel has finally managed to grab the journal. He begins to dictate, though his voice is very weak at first.)
Am I in the Havens? (There is audible doubt in his tone. Why would he deserve to go there?)
I must be...somewhere else. (Somewhere reserved for cowards like him.) I don't deserve it, but...
Is there a Healer in the vicinity? (Goddess, he hopes he is actually communicating with someone.) I'm afraid to stand up. The last time I did, I must have blacked out.
(What else can one expect with a head injury and a fever?)
My name is...Tylendel. (His voice softens, an audible quake to it.) I think I'm...
(Dead. He wonders if that's the norm for...here.)
I didn't think death would hurt this much. (But he deserves every ache and he knows it.) But maybe this is my punishment.
I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry.

True facts. Could have come in when a CRAZY event was on
Believe me, there is no way anyone will ever be an Adept at this place. It is simply... to foreign. I have tried, many times, to understand and it... well, I am sure you will see for yourself, soon enough.
[ He shifted them now, grabbing a new cloth and soap, setting to the task of cleaning the rest of Tylendel's body and his hair, being brisk, but gentle lest the last warmth of the water leave them. As it was, it was growing tepid, and he would not have Tylendel catching cold on top of his injuries. ]
His brain would break...even more.
He has a feeling strange doesn't even cover it.)
I'll follow your lead. (The washing causes him to wince a little, but he is glad for it. All of the grime and blood and tears are finally being washed away. By the time Vanyel finishes, Tylendel shakes some of the hair out of his eyes and stands up.)
I almost feel like a new person. (The dizziness, nausea, headache and even many of the aches are gone. Yet now he realizes that he is exhausted - not just physically, but also emotionally.)
Can we talk about the rest in bed?
You get used to it, 'Lendel
He helped the other slide beneath the covers and followed, wishing that he could curl up into the other like he used to as a boy. But Tylendel was hurt, and Vanyel was the protector now, the one who understood the lay of the land so to speak. So this time he cradled Tylendel to himself, fingers resting lightly in the soft curls. ]
We can speak of it in the morning, 'Lendel. You should rest now.
[ The truth was that he was ready to collapse too, drained and relieved at once and so many other things. ]
With help, he will. :)
Don't go anywhere... (He gratefully rests his cheek against Vanyel's chest, listening to the steady beat of his lover's heart.) I love you, Ashke.
(His voice trails off and he falls to sleep, hugging Vanyel warmly as he dreams.)
